President Trump Announces Elite Pedophile Ring Investigation

Source: YourNewsWire

Wayne Madsen (Washington)

Trump should start his anti-trafficking campaign by seizing Jeffrey Epstein’s planes and Little St James Island. But then, Jeff may release the pics, audio & video of the Wexner mansion from 1994.

“… The cat that had already been let out of the bag a couple years ago obviously is not going back in… as much effort as the fake MSM news establishment desperately tries to cover up the overwhelming, in-our-face evidence, with Pizzagate critical mass is reaching the tipping point, and there is no stopping the ugly truth from now being widely disseminated to the global masses. Hence, the establishment is aggressively pushing back with censorship on the internet in a desperate countermeasure to shut down the truth from getting out. That the everyday citizens must be enlisted to function in the role of detectives working the internet trenches 24/7 to break the “story of the century” wide open, rather than wait for the nation’s law enforcement apparatus to complete the criminal investigation, speaks volumes in and of itself. The fact that the FBI refuses to follow through on releasing its explosive findings only confirms its leadership is more than a complicit accomplice but an integral part of the systemic problem within a perversely diabolical system operating with total impunity, protecting the guilty at the top…..”

Joachim earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and worked as a licensed therapist in the mental health field with abused youth and adolescents for more than a quarter century.

Please read the entire article in which he touches all the bases.

As a result of the hacking of John Podesta’s emails by a Romanian taxi driver (not Russian intelligence), and the subsequent Pizzagate, then PedoGate, with the former Prime Minister of the UK (and probably two former Vice Presidents of the USA) as top known pedophiles, there is finally a growing public demand for action.

I was interviewed yesterday by the great Sacha Stone of Humanitad Foundation and will be interviewed today by Victurus Libertas on this topic. I made three points to Sacha:

01 Pedophilia is the Achilles’ heel of the 1% — the elite and its senior servants including the leadership fo the Republican and Demographic parties in the USA. The world is finally ready to take down the Deep State and pedophilia is the REVELATION that will unite the 99% against the 1%.

02 #GoogleGestapo — the hashtag I propose to cover the activities of the rackerteering-like campaign by Eric Schmidt, Google and Google surrogates like Adroll and YouTube, as well as Twitter and Facebook to censor stories about PizzaGate, PedoGate, and other activists concerns including toxic medicine, food, water, and air, may well be the challenge of our decade. Combined with the fake news mainstream and “progressive” media self-censorship on this topic, we clearly need something based in Iceland.  I am told $50M will be enough to create a Google killer that also takes out Facebook and Twitter, working with some blockchain folks in that direction. #GoogleGestapo does it for me.

03 While their zeal is commendable, the citizen investigators are making many rookie mistakes, to include making false accusations devoid of evidence. I single out as falsely accused the Maccoby family that does legitimate work with orphanages, one of whom lives in the Comet Pizza neighborhood and has been photographed with the owner of the now notorious restaurant. Pedophilia is a horrific crime, and it must be investigated with rigor.

Separately from the conversation with Sacha, I am being interviewed by Victurus Libertas, whose broad audience (136,000 views of their first interview of me in merely five days), is pushing back on my concept of truth & reconciliation for pedophiles. They take issue with my view that there is more merit in discovering and decommissioning all pedophiles, instead of just hanging a few of them. Below is my formal answer to his audience that I will discuss tonight for further posting to YouTube.

The first priority is to stop pedophilia across the board — this includes the low rent blue collar assholes that kidnap kids and chain them up in the basement to be enjoyed for a few years and then buried without a trace.

Hence the second priority is vast information gathering and a complete mapping of every predator, every location, every collaborator in the courts, law enforcement, child protective services (they make money by taking kids away from their families and selling them to predators), the Catholic Church (ditto on babies taken from unwed mothers — the primary purpose of concealing adopters is to protect the fact that many of them are predators.

The third priority is education of the public and particularly parents and principals.  We have many predators across our school systems — remember that Denny Hassert’s lowest moments were as a wrestling coach. The third priority cannot be accomplished without the second and this is what most people do not understand.

The fourth and last priority is reconciliation and to whatever extent appears warranted by a large judicious process, vindictive justice. As a leader-steward my focus is on the first priority. As an intelligence professional, my focus is on the second priority. As an educator my focus is on the third. I have much less interest in the fourth in part because my gifts are in the field and focused on the future.  In my view, those who want vindictive justice are thinking tactically and personally  while I am thinking strategically and nationally.

I have been observing pedophilia for over 20 years, more intensely the last 10. PizzaGate broke the story open, most citizens were in denial and clueless before that. My primary focus is supporting our President, with the two things I am best at: an Electoral Reform Act of 2017 and an Open Source Agency that supports a two-way Trump Channel. Others will investigate and determine the future of our elite pedophiles, not me. I merely point out that truth and reconciliation — my version is everyone gets the truth, no one goes to jail — is vastly more likely to clean house and prevent another generation of pedophiles from emerging.

Trump’s Tuesday Speech to Congress

The Democrats are planning to stage a horror show at the presidential address to a joint session of Congress.  They openly speak of; floor demonstrations complete with shaken fists, signs,  illegal immigrants in the gallery, tearful foreign travelers to the US meditating on their inconveniences.  It will be entertaining.

One must ask why Trump is doing this speech at all.  There is not a requirement in law or custom for this.

IMO he seeks the confrontation in the belief that the Democrats will look foolish and disrespectful to his office.  There is also the possibility that he fears republican support for him is declining in Congress.  He needs that support to pass important legislation like the corporate income tax reduction.   A Democratic “riot” in the capitol might be helpful in rallying Republican support.

IMO his main interest is in staging a scene that will focus middle America on a need perceived by him and Bannon for a cultural revolution in the country.  That might work.  pl

The Blaster: Sleepwalking Into a Nuclear Arms Race with Russia Chuck Spinney & Pierre Sprey (Chuck L)

[Ed.: When these two gentleman speak up, I pay atttention.]

Authors’ background: Chuck Spinney and Pierre Sprey, between them, have over 75 years of Pentagon and industry experience in engineering weapons as well as in analyzing military systems effectivness and defense budgets.  Sprey was one of the early whiz kids in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) in the 1960s. He led the Air Force’s concept design team for the legendary A-10 attack aircraft and, together with colonels Boyd and Riccioni, fathered the enormously successful F-16 fighter. Working in OSD in the 1980s, Spinney’s critical analyses of the Pentagon’s defective planning and budgeting landed him on the March 1983 cover of Time.  Leaving the Pentagon in 2003, he did an in-depth interview on the military-industrial-congressional complex with Bill Moyers which resulted in a special Emmy Award winning edition of Bill Moyers’ Now that aired on 1 August 2003.  Sprey and Spinney have testified before Congress on many occasions and were founding members of the Military Reform Movement led by their close colleague, the renowned American fighter pilot and strategist, Colonel John Boyd.

Roaming Charges: Exxon’s End Game Theory” (St. Clair):

“Tillerson wanted his secret squad of climate change gamers to answer four questions: 1. Is climate change real? 2. Is the threat serious? 3. Are there any effective actions that can be taken to halt or reverse climate change or mitigate the damage? 4. Are the world’s leading carbon emitters likely to impose binding limits on emissions in time to prevent runaway climate change? The answer to the first two questions was “yes”. The answer to the third question was “maybe” and the fourth “no”.

The lesson Tillerson took from this assessment was that climate change is a serious threat and no government has the will or perhaps even the means to confront it. Thus, the only responsible thing to do for the shareholders of Exxon was to push forward aggressively with exploration and development of new oil fields and ventures, from Amazonia to Russia, before some other company captured the reserves. Internally, this became known as the “end game” scenario.

As CEO of Trump’s foreign policy enterprise, Tillerson seems likely to impose this cynical template on the world at large by forging new alliances with old rivals in kind of a Pax petroliana, where the body count of hot wars will be replaced by the hidden, slow deaths caused by an atmosphere gone lethal.”

“I would argue the most likely answer, over time, is yes,” Rogers said. In the near term, he added with rueful laughter, his agenda’s already overloaded with cyber by itself…..”

Mobbed Up?

Connecting the dots between Trump and the Russian mafia.

by Mike Lofgren

February 23, 2017

For more than a year, the media have been abuzz with facts, rumors, and speculation regarding President Trump’s ties to the Russian government – his own personal ties, and those of advisers like Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort. On a separate track, investigative journalists like David Cay Johnston have dredged up decades of connections between Trump and organized crime, including his mentoring by the venomous, mobbed-up Roy Cohn.

Double Standards over ‘Russian Interference’ in Western Elections”.  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has recently been blocking Strategic Culture Foundation as a “potentially malicious website”.

The Treacherous Alliance Serving Israeli and US Hegemony in the Region ~ Dr Bouthaina Shaaban” (Graham Fuller again!):

A recently declassified CIA document prepared in 1983, and released on 20 January 2017, shows that the United States had at the time encouraged Saddam Hussein to attack Syria, which would have led to a vicious conflict between the two countries, thus draining their resources.

The report, which was then prepared by CIA officer Graham Fuller, indicates that the US tried adamantly to convince Saddam to attack Syria under any pretense available, in order to get the two most powerful countries in the Arab East to destroy each other, turning their attention away from the Arab-Israeli conflict.

And since Saddam was already knee-deep in a bloody war against Iran, he needed to be incentivized and encouraged by American client states in the region, such as Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, who offered to fund such a war in order to deal a deadly blow to the growing Syrian power in the region.

Hence, the US provided modern technology to Saddam in order to close the ring of threats around Syria, in addition to Jordan, Turkey, and Israel. The report expected that such pressures from three fronts, possibly more, would force Syria to give concessions in the struggle with Israel. And the report asserts that it was of utmost importance to convince Saddam to play along this scenario, because it would have divided the Arab line and distracted attention from the American-Israeli role in this scheme.

Therefore, the United States worked to achieve a substantial consensus among its client Arab states to support Saddam in such a move. Israeli policy at the time welcomed the idea of creating tensions along Syria’s borders with Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey, because Israel saw Syria as it biggest problem and not Saddam.

Three decades earlier, a colonial alliance was formed during the Cold War, the so-called Baghdad Pact, which included Turkey, the Shah’s Iran, and British-controlled Iraq, with support from the Gulf States. The alliance was geared against Jamal Abdul Nasser, and aimed at stopping the Nationalist wave sweeping Arab countries, and to also halt Egypt’s support for liberation movements in Africa and Asia. But the 1958 revolution in Iraq ended this alliance, and this was followed by Syria and Egypt merging into the United Arab Republic, which Iraq intended to join, but this tripartite unity never materialized.

It is noteworthy that Turkey was always an enemy of Arab Nationalism, especially in Syria and Iraq, and this tendency is still there until today, because Turkey never forgave the Arabs’ for their role in the collapse of the Ottoman empire, and never accepted the loss of its Arab colonies.”

“A Trump/Netanyahu Strategy? US Evacuating ISIS Commanders from Tal Afar”.  Something like the Battle of Tora Bora, where bin Laden was allowed to escape.

What Trump is up to remains unclear (McCain, on the other hand, is treasonously clear), as if he has a plain common-sense MAGA angel on one shoulder, and a Jewish devil on the other, but it is clear that the Turks have no interest in fighting ISIS.

Another message from Haim:  “McMaster has the Islamophobes worried, and that’s a good thing”.  Whatever anybody may say, McMaster is a m-a-s-s-i-v-e upgrade from Flynn.

The Increasingly Unhinged Russia Rhetoric Comes From a Long-Standing U.S. Playbook”.  Misleading.  There is certainly a base of old American Cold Warriors, but this anti-Putinism is clearly Jewish (with some, possibly ironic, help from Ukrainian neo-Nazis), based entirely on the perceived threat of Russia to Greater Israel.  No question whatsoever.

“. . . What is it about the car-dependent living arrangement, and the landscape it enables, that the technosphere finds to be efficient? The surprising answer is that the technosphere strives to optimize the burning of gasoline; everything else is just a byproduct of this optimization.

It turns out that the fact that so many people are forced to own a car has nothing to do with transportation and everything to do with petroleum chemistry. About half of what can be usefully extracted from a barrel of crude oil is in the form of gasoline. It is possible to boost the fraction of other, more useful products, such as kerosene, diesel fuel, jet fuel and heating oil, but not by much and at a cost of reduced net energy. But gasoline is not very useful at all. It is volatile (quite a lot of it evaporates, especially in the summer); it is chemically unstable and doesn’t keep for long; it is toxic and carcinogenic. It has a rather low flash point, limiting the compression ratio that can be achieved by gasoline-fueled engines, making them thermodynamically less efficient. It is useless for large engines, and is basically a small-engine fuel. Gasoline-powered engines don’t last very long because gasoline-air mixture is detonated (using an electric spark) rather than burned, and the shock waves from the detonations cause components to wear out quickly. They have few industrial uses; all of the serious transportation infrastructure, including locomotives, ships, jet aircraft, tractor-trailers, construction equipment and electrical generators run on petroleum distillates such as kerosene, jet fuel, diesel oil and bunker fuel.

If it weren’t for widespread private car ownership, gasoline would have to be flared off at refineries, at a loss. In turn, the cost of petroleum distillates—which are all of the industrial fuels—would double, and this would curtail the technosphere’s global expansion by making long-distance freight much more expensive. The technosphere’s goal, then, is to make us pay for the gasoline by forcing us to drive. To this end, the landscape is structured in a way that makes driving necessary. The fact that to get from a Motel 8 on one side of the road to the McDonalds on the other requires you to drive two miles, navigate a cloverleaf, and drive two miles back is not a bug; it’s a feature. When James Kunstler calls suburban sprawl “the greatest misallocation of resources in human history” he is only partly right. It is also the greatest optimization in exploiting every part of the crude oil barrel in the history of the technosphere.”

This is hilarious: “Truth to Power”.

February 22-23, 2017 — Note on WMR outage

Even though WMR’s security was recently upgraded by a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate, that did not stop a sophisticated bot attack against us from source(s) unknown. Our web service provider, SubHub in Wales, had to take us off-line. We were the only site they host that was attacked. Some members saw WMR access re-directed to the SubHub site. That was because we were quarantined after the bot attack.

When restoration of a website takes place, it is similar to restoring electrical power to a wide area suffering from a blackout. WMR access was first restored in parts of the east coast of the U.S. — minus New England. Restoration of service was then restored to the Midwest, Rocky Mountain states, and the Pacific Northwest. Last to have access restored were parts of California, South America, and the Indian subcontinent.

Steps are being taken to protect us from further such attacks. Thanks for bearing with us through the disruption.

Suffice to say, this was the most disruptive attack since the editor traveled in 2011 to Indonesia to investigate Barack Obama’s family’s history in the 1960s through the 80s. The timing of our critical coverage of the Trump administration and the bot attack may not be coincidental.

Unlike some “news” websites, we, as a subscription site, are not indebted to advertisers pushing male vitality powders, “Dr. Feelgood” tonics, apocalypse seeds, or gold and silver coins. Therefore, there is no impetus for us to hype or invent news for “click bait” merely to generate web traffic. It is clear that the Trump White House would prefer the public to rely on alt-right fake news sites — and we all know who they are — for their intake of information. WMR will not play in that field. Rather, we will stick to the canons of journalism in our reporting and not the playbook of P.T. Barnum.

The following are the canons of journalism. While not always perfect, most legitimate news organizations try to adhere to these canons, where practical, developed by the American Society of Newspaper Editors in 1923:

I. RESPONSIBILITY: The right of a newspaper to attract and hold readers is restricted by nothing but considerations of public welfare. The use a newspaper makes of the share of public attention it gains serves to determine its sense of responsibility, which it shares with every member of its staff. A journalist who uses his power for any selfish or otherwise unworthy purpose is faithless to a high trust.

II. FREEDOM OF THE PRESS: Freedom of the press is to be guarded as a vital right of mankind. It is the unquestionable right to discuss whatever is not explicitly forbidden by law, including the wisdom of any restrictive statute.

III. INDEPENDENCE: Freedom from all obligations except that of fidelity to the public interest is vital.

1. Promotion of any private interest contrary to the general welfare, for whatever reason, is not compatible with honest journalism. So-called news communications from private sources should not be published without public notice of their source or else substantiation of their claims to value as news, both in form and substance.

2. Partisanship, in editorial comment which knowingly departs from the truth, does violence to the best spirit of American journalism; in the news columns it is subversive of a fundamental principle of the profession.

IV. SINCERITY, TRUTHFULNESS, ACCURACY: Good faith with the reader is the foundation of all journalism worthy of the name.

1. By every consideration of good faith a newspaper is constrained to be truthful. It is not to be excused for lack of thoroughness or accuracy within its control, or failure to obtain command of these essential qualifies.

2. Headlines should be fully warranted by the contents of the articles which they surmount.

V. IMPARTIALITY: Sound practice makes clear distinction between news reports and expressions of opinion. News reports should be free from opinion or bias of any kind.

1. This rule does not apply to so-called special articles unmistakably devoted to advocacy or characterized by a signature authorizing the writer’s own conclusions and interpretation.

VI. FAIR PLAY: A newspaper should not publish unofficial charges affecting reputation or moral character without opportunity given to the accused to be heard ; right practice demands the giving of such opportunity in all cases of serious accusation outside judicial proceedings.

1. A newspaper should not involve private rights or feeling without sure warrant of public right as distinguished from public curiosity.

2. It is the privilege, as it is the duty, of a newspaper to make prompt and complete correction of its own serious mistakes of fact or opinion, whatever their origin.

DECENCY: A newspaper cannot escape conviction of insincerity if while professing high moral purpose it supplies incentives to base conduct, such as are to be found in details of crime and vice, publication of which is not demonstrably for the general good- Lacking authority to enforce its canons the journalism here represented can but express the hope that deliberate pandering to vicious instincts will encounter effective public disapproval or yield to the influence of a preponderant professional condemnation.

MSNBC anchor Mika Brzezinski boldly declared that it’s the media’s job to “control exactly what people think” during an on-air discussion about President Donald Trump.

Brzezinski made the flippant remark while responding to a comment from her co-host Joe Scarborough during a panel discussion on ‘Morning Joe’ about Trump’s efforts to “undermine the media.”

The TV host who is the daughter of Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter and counselor to President Lyndon B. Johnson, voiced her concerns that the president was “trying to undermine the media and trying to make up his own facts.”

“And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job,” she continued.

DONALD TRUMP HAS inherited the most powerful machine for spying ever devised. How this petty, vengeful man might wield and expand the sprawling American spy apparatus, already vulnerable to abuse, is disturbing enough on its own. But the outlook is even worse considering Trump’s vast preference for private sector expertise and new strategic friendship with Silicon Valley billionaire investor Peter Thiel, whose controversial (and opaque) company Palantir has long sought to sell governments an unmatched power to sift and exploit information of any kind. The New Wave Of Violent Protests Is Exactly What The Elite Want — Here’s Why

February 21, 2017 by kristalklear

Over the past 18 months, there has been a significant increase in the frequency and severity of riots conducted by the extreme left.  Their ranks are comprised of self-described anti-fascists,  anarcho-communists, radical 3rd wave feminists, Black Lives Matter (BLM), and other social justice warriors (SJWs).  They have attained great notoriety through their willingness to employ violence/intimidation, vandalize/loot private property, and engage in the very same behavior they accuse their ideological opponents of perpetrating.  Tragically, innocent and non-interested bystanders often get caught in the cross hairs whilst they throw their violent temper tantrums.  To add further cause for concern, these otherwise marginal groups are coalescing under the banner of “intersectionality” thereby effecting a swelling of their ranks, temerity, and menace.

However, as Professor Matthew Feinberg of the University of Toronto recently published a study confirming “extreme protest tactics reduce popular support for social movements.” Violent and destructive protests render peaceful protestors inept and guilty by association. The following summarizes the results of the study in greater detail:

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett recently withdrew $900 million worth of shares from Wal-Mart, leading market experts to believe the behemoth retailer is in serious trouble. This is the fourth consecutive quarter that Buffett’s investment group, Berkshire Hathaway, has reduced its holdings in Wal-Mart, and their most recent downsize leaves them with virtually no remaining shares. ‘Allahu Akbar’ Becomes A Rallying Call As Leftists Join Forces With Radical Muslims To Fight Trump All Across America

SAN DIEGO: The Army and Navy must link their missile defense systems into a single network so Navy weapons can hit targets spotted by Army radars and vice versa, the chief of Pacific Command said today. That’s a daunting technical task but, if surmounted, it could dramatically improve defense against North Korean, Chinese, or Russian missile salvos.

“I believe that Army missileers should incorporate their air defense systems into the Navy’s integrated fire control – counter-air, or NIFC-CA, architecture,” Adm. Harry Harris told the AFCEA-USNI West convention here.

“The U.S. military is referring to Turkey’s mythical anti-ISIS force as the ‘Unicorn Force’, mocking it as something imaginary, a legend told by the Turks to get the Americans to agree to walk away from the SDF [Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces],” said Heras, who works for the CNAS’s Middle East Security Program.

“Turkey should have a much stronger hand in determining the Coalition’s counter-ISIS strategy than it actually does. In fact, Turkey has made its hand much weaker. The reason that Turkey’s hand is weaker is because Turkey has not delivered the Sunni Arab force to take and hold Raqqa that it promised the United States that it would assemble,” he said.

US officials have asked the Turkish government to deliver a Syrian force to take Raqqa, but Turkey has so far failed to deliver.”

But Trump also equally represents the knowledge that all of that is a lie, a scam that’s much older than you are, a fantasy that we can dwell in though it will never become true, like a video game.

Trump, in other words, is a way of owning and celebrating being taken advantage of.

Trump embodies buying the losing bet that will never be placed.

He is both despair and cruel arrogant dismissal, the fantasy of winning and the pain of losing mingled into one potion.

“… McMaster’s leadership at the famed Battle of 73 Easting in Operation Desert Storm was an important part of the U.S. military’s resurgence, poetically described as “exorcising the ghosts of Vietnam” at the time. In that battle, a vastly outnumbered American unit defeated Iraqi forces with superior tactics, coordination, and technology, without suffering a single casualty. Last February, McMaster wrote an extensive account of the battle, and the lessons it provides for future conflict, for The National Interest.

He is noted as an advocate of both strong conventional military forces and cyber-warfare capability. Concerned by cuts to both manpower and equipment modernization, he warned the Senate last year that “we are outranged and outgunned by many potential adversaries… our Army in the future risks being too small to secure the nation.” One of the lessons he recommends learning from the Battle of 73 Easting, a quarter-century on, is that American forces may never again have such a pronounced technological advantage over enemy ground forces.

One of the adversaries McMaster particularly worries about is Russia. Defense One reported in May 2016 that he believes the Ukraine conflict has “revealed that the Russians have superior artillery firepower, better combat vehicles, and have learned sophisticated use of UAVs for tactical effect.”

McMaster feared American military planners have invested too much effort in “winning long-range missile duels,” proclaiming such tactics of limited use against the “dispersion, concealment, intermingling with civilian populations… the ability to disrupt our network strike capability, precision navigation and timing capabilities” demonstrated by Russian forces in Ukraine. He was also concerned about Russia’s advantages in battlefield artillery.

He was also concerned about Russia’s advantages in battlefield artillery, including their use of cluster munitions, thermobaric warheads, and heavy use of electronic warfare, citing reports of Russia’s astonishing effectiveness at shutting down Ukranian tactical radios, drones, and even the electrical fuses on their artillery shells. Even the vaunted American technological edge in air supremacy, tanks, and armored fighting vehicles has dangerously eroded, in McMaster’s estimation.”

“… Stop medical research unrelated to war fighting (as Senator McCain has argued). Because the Defense Department has deep pockets, Congress has charged it with doing medical research on a wide variety of conditions from breast cancer, to autism, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Collectively, this research costs about a billion dollars per year. These are real research needs but they are unrelated to war fighting. The research should be conducted by other parts of the federal government, for example, by the National Institutes of Health.  Advocates will oppose any effort to shift funding, fearful it might be reduced in the process.

Align the military medical community with wartime requirements (as the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission (MCRMC) and Heritage have argued). This would greatly reduce its size, focus it on wartime missions, and allow the Defense Department to use less expensive civilian medical facilities for peacetime needs. Currently, the military medical community is focused on peacetime operations and is much larger than, and badly aligned with, wartime requirements. For example, the Army has 232 pediatricians but a wartime requirement for one. The MCRMC argued that this peacetime focus impaired the ability to handle wartime trauma—the treatment of which is why the military medical establishment exists. Military facilities are also more expensive than their civilian counterparts. The good news is that the Congress recently authorized DoD to convert some jobs from military to civilian. The bad news is that realignment still won’t be easy. Many service members, and retirees as well, would regard a shift to civilian facilities as a cut in benefits.

Get military personnel out of commercially available activities (see the Simpson-Bowles Commission and the Defense Business Board). Military personnel are extremely expensive, difficult to recruit, and hard to retain. As a result, they should be used only for those tasks that must be done by the military. Other tasks should be done by either civilian employees of the government or contractors, both of whom are easier to recruit and (generally) less expensive when all of the support costs are considered. Nevertheless, about 350,000 active duty military personnel are in commercial-type, support activities—photographers, IT personnel, accountants, facility maintenance, and the like. Richard Danzig, former Navy Secretary, called this a “conscription mentality” that regards military personnel as “free” and plentiful, when they are, in fact, expensive and scarce. Getting them out of support activities and into war fighting would put them where they are needed most. However, the shift would also increase the number of government employees and contractors, both of which the Congress and the administration want to cut. The Pentagon can’t shift functions to civilians and then cut the civilians. That just hollows the force.

Focus Combatant Commanders on warfighting and get them out of program and budget issues (see the Defense Business Board). The commanders were originally created to fight wars, but over the years they have become mini-Pentagons, with staffs that cover the full spectrum of administrative activities. For example, all of them have an office to assess the service and agency budgets and whether those are adequate for the needs of the combatant command. Eliminating these offices would not eliminate many billets, a few hundred across the 10 combatant commands, but they are highly graded billets, often at the major or lieutenant colonel level. The downside, however, is that the Secretary and the Congress have to stop asking combatant commanders about service and agency budgets. It’s not fair to ask commanders about these topics and then to deny them the staff needed to provide a credible answer.

Stop running a school system for dependents (Simpson-Bowles Commission).  No company in the world runs its own school system, but the mitliary does, both overseas and at home, at the cost of $2 billion per year. The need for an “American” school system overseas is well accepted, but the need for 58 DoD schools at home has faded with time. The system was originally developed to provide schooling for children in remote locations where there was no nearby civilian community. In the 1950s and 1960s DOD expanded its school system in the South because it refused to send its children to segregated schools. Both were the right thing to do at the time, but those days are long past. The military should send its children to the local schools.  Closing DoD schools will not be easy, however. Proponents will note the value in having a school system where everyone comes from the same background of frequent transfers and parental deployments.  A lot of parent-teacher associations will send the Defense Secretary angry letters…..”

Robots Poised to Take Over Wide Range of Military Jobs

February 21st, 2017 by Kevin

Via: San Diego Union Tribune:

The wave of automation that swept away tens of thousands of American manufacturing and office jobs during the past two decades is now washing over the armed forces, putting both rear-echelon and front-line positions in jeopardy.

“Just as in the civilian economy, automation will likely have a big impact on military organizations in logistics and manufacturing,” said Michael Horowitz, a University of Pennsylvania professor and one of the globe’s foremost experts on weaponized robots.

“The U.S. military is very likely to pursue forms of automation that reduce ‘back-office’ costs over time, as well as remove soldiers from non-combat deployments where they might face risk from adversaries on fluid battlefields, such as in transportation.”

Florida Man Charged With Plotting to Bomb Target, Wanted to Buy Stock Cheap

February 21st, 2017 by Kevin

Via: Reuters:

A Florida man has been charged with plotting to plant bombs in at least 10 Target Corp stores and then profit when the blasts caused the company’s stock price to fall, federal prosecutors have said.

Charles Barnett, 48, of Ocala, had asked a law enforcement informant to put the homemade bombs on the shelves of Target stores from Florida to New York state, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida said in a statement on Thursday.

“Barnett theorized that the company’s stock value would plunge after the explosions, allowing him to cheaply acquire shares of Target stock before an eventual rebound in prices,” the statement said.

Revisiting the oroville Dam Story

JP Farrell | 21 February 2017

Oroville Dam ramifications…

Excerpt from a speech given by playwright Harold Pinter, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2005:

It never happened. Nothing ever happened. Even while it was happening it wasn’t happening. It didn’t matter. It was of no interest. The crimes of the United States have been systematic, constant, vicious, remorseless, but very few people have actually talked about them. You have to hand it to America. It has exercised a quite clinical manipulation of power worldwide while masquerading as a force for universal good. It’s a brilliant, even witty, highly successful act of hypnosis.

I put to you that the United States is without doubt the greatest show on the road. Brutal, indifferent, scornful and ruthless it may be but it is also very clever. As a salesman it is out on its own and its most saleable commodity is self love. It’s a winner. Listen to all American presidents on television say the words, ‘the American people’, as in the sentence, ‘I say to the American people it is time to pray and to defend the rights of the American people and I ask the American people to trust their president in the action he is about to take on behalf of the American people.’

It’s a scintillating stratagem. Language is actually employed to keep thought at bay. The words ‘the American people’ provide a truly voluptuous cushion of reassurance. You don’t need to think. Just lie back on the cushion. The cushion may be suffocating your intelligence and your critical faculties but it’s very comfortable. This does not apply of course to the 40 million people living below the poverty line and the 2 million men and women imprisoned in the vast gulag of prisons, which extends across the US.

The United States no longer bothers about low intensity conflict. It no longer sees any point in being reticent or even devious. It puts its cards on the table without fear or favour. It quite simply doesn’t give a damn about the United Nations, international law or critical dissent, which it regards as impotent and irrelevant. It also has its own bleating little lamb tagging behind it on a lead, the pathetic and supine Great Britain.

What has happened to our moral sensibility? Did we ever have any? What do these words mean? Do they refer to a term very rarely employed these days – conscience? A conscience to do not only with our own acts but to do with our shared responsibility in the acts of others? Is all this dead? Look at Guantanamo Bay. Hundreds of people detained without charge for over three years, with no legal representation or due process, technically detained forever. This totally illegitimate structure is maintained in defiance of the Geneva Convention. It is not only tolerated but hardly thought about by what’s called the ‘international community’. This criminal outrage is being committed by a country, which declares itself to be ‘the leader of the free world’. Do we think about the inhabitants of Guantanamo Bay? What does the media say about them? They pop up occasionally – a small item on page six. They have been consigned to a no man’s land from which indeed they may never return. At present many are on hunger strike, being force-fed, including British residents. No niceties in these force-feeding procedures. No sedative or anaesthetic. Just a tube stuck up your nose and into your throat. You vomit blood. This is torture. What has the British Foreign Secretary said about this? Nothing. What has the British Prime Minister said about this? Nothing. Why not? Because the United States has said: to criticise our conduct in Guantanamo Bay constitutes an unfriendly act. You’re either with us or against us. So Blair shuts up.

The invasion of Iraq was a bandit act, an act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of international law. The invasion was an arbitrary military action inspired by a series of lies upon lies and gross manipulation of the media and therefore of the public; an act intended to consolidate American military and economic control of the Middle East masquerading – as a last resort – all other justifications having failed to justify themselves – as liberation. A formidable assertion of military force responsible for the death and mutilation of thousands and thousands of innocent people.

We have brought torture, cluster bombs, depleted uranium, innumerable acts of random murder, misery, degradation and death to the Iraqi people and call it ‘bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East’.

How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal? One hundred thousand? More than enough, I would have thought….”

“You’re a completely different person at 14 and 77, the longest-running personality study ever has found” [Quartz]. Don’t I know it! “If your patterns of thought, emotions, and behavior so drastically alter over the decades, can you truly be considered the same person in old age as you were as a teenager? This question ties in with broader theories about the nature of the self. For example, there is growing neuroscience research that supports the ancient Buddhist belief that our notion of a stable ‘self’ is nothing more than an illusion.”

Special Solari Report – American Suicide: Proposals for Constitutional Amendments & Convention w/ Edwin Vieira, Jr.

America’s sovereign finances have been operated outside the law for some time. Since fiscal 1998, the federal government has refused to publish audited financial statements and has reported over $11 trillion in undocumentable adjustments. Solari Report subscribers have heard for years about black budgets, hidden systems of finance, trillions in money going missing from the US government accounts, all constituting a “financial coup d’etat. Clearly, there have been significant violations of provisions in the US Constitution and law related to management of resources and assets.

You would expect that we would hear a growing chorus of both conservatives and progressives insisting that Congress comply with the law with respect to the management of our finances. Where is our money? Which mechanisms should we use to get it back? However, that has not happened. Instead, we see a push for Constitutional amendments and conventions.

This raises numerous questions.  If we are not going to enforce the Constitution, why the rush to change it? Why do so in a process that could be hijacked? If you look at the extraordinary sums of money, dirty tricks and covert operations used to push through tort reform, Common Core or mandated vaccines at the state level or destroy my community wizard software tool or other attempts to ensure proper accounts and reporting, the push to change the Constitution seems mighty suspicious.

Are the people who have shifted all the money out of government accounts hoping to make sure that the Constitution can not be used to enforce, even get the money back? What is the real agenda here?

To help me sort through these questions and dig into the very real risks, I asked attorney and Constitutional scholar Edwin Vieira to join me for a Special Solari Report on the current push to fiddle with the powerful covenant that protects us all. What does it mean to us and why should we make sure our Congressmen and state legislators are focused on enforcement of the Constitution, rather than changes?

If you don’t know about Edwin Viera, you should. Vieira holds four degrees from Harvard: A.B. (Harvard College), A.M. and Ph.D. (Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences), and J.D. (Harvard Law School). For more than thirty years he has practiced law, with emphasis on constitutional issues. In the Supreme Court of the United States he successfully argued or briefed the cases leading to the landmark decisions Abood v. Detroit Board of Education, Chicago Teachers Union v. Hudson, and Communications Workers of America v. Beck, which established constitutional and statutory limitations on the uses to which labor unions, in both the private and the public sectors, may apply fees extracted from nonunion workers as a condition of their employment.

You can find Dr. Vieira’s articles at and his books here, including my favorite, Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution. His lecture series on the problems facing our economy and security as well as legal remedies, The Purse and the Sword can be found here.

While many people are distracted by events in DC, a deeper game is afoot. Last year alone $6.5 trillion went missing from the federal government at the same time the push for a Constitutional Convention increased.  With the help of Dr. Vieira’s formidable experience and scholarship, I am sounding the alarm!

Lt. General H.R. McMaster Director of National Security Council | 20 Feb 2017 | President Donald Trump has named Lt. General HR McMaster as the Director of the National Security Council; Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg remains NSC CoS.

“… Dereliction of Duty: Lyndon Johnson, Robert McNamara, The Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Lies that Led to Vietnam is a book written by then Major McMaster that explores the military’s role in the policies of the Vietnam War. The book was written as part of his Ph.D. dissertation at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The book examines Robert McNamara and U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson‘s staff, alongside the military and particularly the Joint Chiefs of Staff, failure to provide a successful plan of action either to pacify a Viet Cong insurgency or to decisively defeat the North Vietnamese Army.

McMaster details why military actions intended to indicate “resolve” or to “communicate” ultimately failed when trying to accomplish sparsely detailed, confusing, and conflicting military objectives.”

Obama is the Source of the Coup

Armstrong Economics | 19 February 2017

“… The Obama administration intentionally set the stage knowing what they were doing was designed to undermine and cripple the Trump Administration. The sanctions on Putin were also intended to prevent Trump from reversing the tension created by Obama to create an international conflict. These leaks appear to be part of an intentional plot by Obama/Left to allow his supporters within the intelligence community to topple Trump if they can. Obama waited until he had just 17 days left in office to sign an executive order to expand the power of the National Security Agency (NSA) allowing it to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies BEFORE any application of top secret or privacy protection would be attached. Obama never did this while he was in office. Whenever a politician does something like this, there is ALWAYS a hidden agenda. This Obama executive order changed everything with regard to national security that was put in place by an executive order dating back to Ronald Reagan. Obama opened the flood gates and this I personally believe was a treasonous act showing the Democrats adopted a strategy to undermine Trump from the outset and to create massive civil unrest….

Obama has been behind this entire affair of creating civil unrest but he is not the mastermind so-to-speak. I believe this left-wing group is deliberately undermining national security with their moles strategically placed within the intelligence community to undermine the government. That is unquestionable TREASON and the press will only attack Trump and never defend the country. When Obama won, you did not see the other 46% set fires and try to bring down the government. The left always demands it is their way or no way. This is why we will move into civil war in the years ahead. Independents just say live and let live – don’t bother me and I will not bother you. Leftists say you can live only as they command – they cannot sleep at night worrying what independents are doing. It’s like the Hunger Games – suppress all freedom is their agenda.”

“We want America to remain sovereign, a Republic nation,” the petition stresses. “We want to remain a Christian nation. This man and his son will continue to attempt to destroy our Western values and we agree he must be removed or arrested immediately to guard the safety of our values and our country.” ….

Last year, hacktivist-run website DC Leaks published dozens of secret documents related to Open Society Foundations operations, demonstrating, among other things, how Soros’ fingerprints were all over efforts to affect Western societies in ways disturbing to conservatives and others opposed to a post-family world. This, Pshenichnikov noted, includes the depatholization of sexual and gender identities, along with strategies to decriminalize prostitution and legally recognize transsexualism as a psychiatric norm.

“Soros has also actively intervened in the work of the World Health Organization,” the journalist noted, “and has tried to change existing international classifications of sexual disorders so that the postulates of ‘gender ideology’ could be scientifically justified.” The strategies include support for advocacy groups working to change the WHO’s International Classification of Diseases to remove transsexualism as a psychiatric diagnosis….”

According to pundits, politicians, and even the executive branch itself, the Trump administration is at war with the so-called “Deep State.” Though the Deep State – sometimes also called the Shadow government – is hard to define, it is essentially the part of the political establishment that are permanent power factions operating within Washington. These factions guide policy according to a unified agenda regardless of who is in office, often exercising their power secretively which frees them of any sort of accountability. Recently, this “Deep State” has seemed determined to undermine, discredit, and destroy the Trump administration, having allegedly been responsible for the leaks that led to Michael Flynn’s resignation among other controversies. Though much of the Deep State’s activities intended to undermine Trump has so far largely been attributed to the Intelligence Community, it extends much deeper including many other federal departments and agencies, including the State Department.  State Officials Want Trump To Reverse Obama’s Last-Minute Election Power Grab

9:14 PM 02/19/2017

State officials across the nation are fighting former President Barack Obama’s last-minute decision to impose federal authority over state-run election systems, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS), which includes officials from all 50 states and U.S. territories, appealed to President Donald Trump in a resolution approved Saturday at the group’s winter meeting to overturn the Obama policy, but doing so may encounter unexpected resistance from the new administration.

Obama ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Jan. 6, 2017, to classify local and state election systems under the new federal designation of “critical infrastructure.”

By a voice vote, the NASS declared that it “opposes the designation of elections as critical infrastructure,” with opposition cutting across party lines. The NASS includes 33 Republicans, 21 Democrats and one independent. via

It is rather important to understand what the Traditional Enemies Of Peace are really up to, and finally call them out on it, identifying them by supremacist group, and by their motives.  Evil warmongering needs to have a cost!  A Ukrainian-Russian peace deal is not in the interests of building Greater Israel.

The Did-You-Talk-to-Russians Witch Hunt” (Parry)  (responding to monstrosities like this:  “Trump’s Russia scandals could be about to get much, much worse”):

“Some prominent Democrats and liberals have compared Trump-connected contacts with Russians to President Richard Nixon’s Watergate scandal or President Reagan’s Iran-Contra Affair, an issue that I know a great deal about having helped expose it as a reporter for The Associated Press in the 1980s.

The key difference is that Iran-Contra was an unconstitutional effort by the Reagan administration to finance an illegal war against Nicaragua’s Sandinista government in defiance of a congressional ban. The Trump-connected communications with Russians – to the degree they have occurred – appear to have been aimed at preventing a new and dangerous Cold War that could lead to a nuclear holocaust.

In other words, Iran-Contra was about enabling a paramilitary force to continue its brutal marauding inside a country that was no threat to the United States while the current “scandal” is about people trying to avoid hostilities between two nuclear superpowers, an existential threat that many mainstream and liberal pundits don’t want to recognize.”

and (on some rather amazing straight-up lying – there is no other way to describe it! – by the Lügenpresse):

“This Russia-bashing and Russia-baiting have been accompanied by false narratives presented in the major U.S. newspapers, including The New York Times and The Washington Post, to justify increased tensions.

For instance, the Post’s senior foreign affairs writer Karen DeYoung on Friday described the civil war in Ukraine this way: “That conflict began when Russia invaded and annexed Crimea in 2014, then backed separatists in eastern Ukraine in what has become a grinding war, despite a deal to end it, called the Minsk agreement, negotiated with Putin by the leaders of France and Germany.”

But DeYoung’s synopsis is simply not true. The crisis began in the fall of 2013 when Ukraine’s elected President Viktor Yanukovych backed out of what he regarded as a costly and unacceptable association agreement with the European Union, a move which prompted protests by Ukrainians in Kiev’s Maidan square.

The Obama administration’s State Department, U.S. neocon politicians such as Sen. John McCain, and various U.S.-backed “non-governmental organizations” then stoked those protests against Yanukovych, which grew violent as trained ultra-nationalist and neo-Nazi street fighters poured in from western Ukraine.

In early 2014, a coup to overthrow the democratically elected Yanukovych took shape under the guidance of U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt who were caught in a phone call in late January or early February 2014 conspiring to impose new leadership inside Ukraine.

Nuland disparaged a less extreme strategy favored by European diplomats with the pithy remark: “Fuck the E.U.” and went on to declare “Yats is the guy,” favoring Arseniy Yatsenyuk as the new leader. Nuland then pondered how to “glue this thing” while Pyatt ruminated about how to “midwife this thing.”

On Feb. 20, 2014, a mysterious sniper apparently firing from a building controlled by the ultranationalist Right Sektor killed both police and protesters, setting off a day of violence that left about 70 people dead including more than a dozen police.

The next day, three European governments struck a deal with Yanukovych in which he agreed to early elections and accepted reduced powers. But that political settlement wasn’t enough for the U.S.-backed militants who stormed government buildings on Feb. 22, forcing Yanukovych and his officials to flee for their lives.

Instead of standing by the Feb. 21 agreement, which the European nations had “guaranteed,” Nuland pushed for and got U.S. allies to accept the new post-coup regime as “legitimate,” with Yatsenyuk becoming prime minister and several top government posts given to the ultranationalists and neo-Nazis.

In the ensuing days, the right-wing violence spread beyond Kiev, prompting Crimea’s legislature to propose secession from Ukraine and readmission to Russia, whose relationship to the peninsula dated back to Catherine the Great.

Crimea scheduled a referendum that was opposed by the new regime in Kiev. Russian troops did not “invade” Crimea because some 20,000 were already stationed there as part of a basing agreement at the Black Sea port of Sevastopol. The Russians did provide security for the referendum but there was no evidence of intimidation as the citizens of Crimea voted by 96 percent to leave Ukraine and rejoin Russia, a move that Putin and the Russian duma accepted.

Eastern Ukrainians tried to follow Crimea’s lead with their own referendum, but Putin and Russia rejected their appeals to secede. However, when the Kiev regime launched an “Anti-Terrorism Operation” against the so-called Donbass region – spearheaded by ultra-nationalist and neo-Nazi militias – Russia provided military assistance so these ethnic Russians would not be annihilated.

Karen DeYoung also framed the Minsk agreement as if it were imposed on Putin when he was one of its principal proponents and architects, winning its approval in early 2015 at a time when the Ukrainian military was facing battlefield reversals.

Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland during a press conference at the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine, on Feb. 7, 2014. (U.S. State Department photo)

But Assistant Secretary Nuland, working with Prime Minister Yatsenyuk and the Ukrainian parliament, sabotaged the agreement by requiring the Donbass rebels to first surrender which they were unwilling to do, having no faith in the sincerity of the Kiev regime to live up to its commitment to grant limited autonomy to the Donbass.

In other words, Kiev inserted a poison pill to prevent a peaceful resolution, but the Western media and governments always blame the Minsk failure on Putin.

If Karen DeYoung wanted to boil all this history down to one paragraph, it might go: “The Ukraine conflict began when U.S. officials supported the violent overthrow of elected President Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Crimea to rejoin Russia and causing ethnic Russians in the east to rise up against the U.S.-backed coup regime in Kiev, which then sought to crush the rebellion. The Kiev regime later torpedoed a peace deal that had been hammered out by Russian, Ukrainian and European negotiators in Minsk.”

But such a summary would not have the desired propaganda effect on the American people. It would not present the U.S.-backed side as the “white hats” and the pro-Russia side as the “black hats.””

The latest move by the Traditional Enemies Of Peace is to characterize an attempt to create peace between Russia and Ukraine as treason to be blamed on Trump! Disgusting, and I hope Americans start to get the full picture of who it is that hates peace and wants to destroy the world.  “Learning Eye-Popping Details About Mr Sater”.

Felix Sater – Man Of The Year: Chabad of Port Washington”.  “A Back-Channel Plan for Ukraine and Russia, Courtesy of Trump Associates”.  It is within the realm of possibility that this is ratfucking, a phony deal which comes out now in order to force Trump to distance himself from Putin, but it remains disgusting that the obvious goal of the Lügenpresse is to create the underlying understanding that, of course, no peace deal with Russia is possible or desirable.

Ukraine, Crimea and the Push for War”.

Meanwhile, with the exact same Traditional Enemy Of Peace:  “Trump and pal ‘Bibi’ funk out on Iran deal”:

“. . . at their joint press conference, Trump simply dodged the questions on the Iran deal – not once but twice – when asked what he intended to do about it.

The message is loud and clear: Iran nuclear deal is here to stay. A Jerusalem Post analysis noted wryly, “They may not like the deal, they may not have made it, and they may enforce it more aggressively than the Obama administration, but attempts to “rip it up” are officially over.””

Washington prepares to bring North Koreans to U.S. for talks: report”.  Funny/typical Rothschild spin:  “The talks would be the clearest indication yet that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un wants to communicate with the new Trump administration.”.  But isn’t it Trump that is displaying this very disheartening consistent interest in peace?

[Ed.: Despite the hype, the many previous awards, and The Tomato-meter score of 96%, both Mrs. Blogger and I were disappointed by the movie Manchester-by-the-Sea. In particular, I thought the sound mixing was awful: character is found/created in the dialogue, in great part, and if you can’t here or understand the dialogue, you’ve lost a lot. We both felt that the music more interfered with the movie than aided it. And the ping-pong nature of the flashbacks was not that easy to follow. The only acting award for this film should go to Lucas.]

New Imaging Technique Catches DNA ‘Blinking’ On

Original article “DNA and proteins don’t naturally give off light, conventional wisdom holds, so scientists have developed fluorescent dyes to attach to such molecules to make them visible in the darkness of a cell (SN: 6/5/13, p. 20). But Backman and Hao Zhang, both of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., discovered that when DNA is tickled with particular wavelengths of light, it ‘blinks’ on, momentarily shining brighter than it would with the most powerful fluorescent tags.”

There’s a Deep State in America

Imagine my surprise when, on my flight back from San Francisco to New York, that’s what my trusty New York Times revealed to me.

My first thought was: I can’t believe how this horrible Donald Trump has set up a Deep State in less than a month?!

Surely Russia was involved in its formation.

Then again, I strangely find myself thinking a lot about Russia these days. I’ll admit it – when my morning breakfast was late it fleetingly occurred to me that the Kremlin was behind this slowdown in my hotel room service.

Putting that aside, I was immediately relieved when by the 3rd paragraph our nation’s paper of record had put to rest my fears of an unprecedented formation of a US Deep State with, “Not quite, experts say….”

I just don’t put anything past the evil capabilities of the Donald!

Reading the article I was surprised to find that the Deep State isn’t what I thought it was – apparently it’s only when the government leaks information to the media?

source of featured graphic:

That’s funny, because one time on the SF-NYC “Job Creator Red-eye” I sat next to an Egyptian guy. Of course I was worried, at first, but I found out it he was a Coptic Christian, so that put me at ease. Who even knew they had those?!

This Egyptian told me about his country’s Deep State, and it sounded really bad:

He said that they colluded with “some Western countries” – he didn’t say which and looked kind of uncomfortable as he said it, for some reason – to stop that great Tahrir Square Revolution which was to guarantee that Israel would be safe.

“Mr. Gypsy” said that the Egyptian version of the Deep State was that their military controlled the economy, and that they bribed, imprisoned and killed people to keep their grip on the economy and control over foreign policy.

It sounded pretty bad.

I told him I was happy that Washington was supporting Al-Sisi’s military takeover with billions in aid, and that he didn’t have to thank me personally for that.

A “military” intertwined with the “economy”…I must admit, it did make me think.

Of Russia! I’m nearly certain that Putin created something similar over thereafter he banned elections, so why even verify it with some research?!

But this Egyptian must not have known what he was talking about, because the New York Times article didn’t say anything about the economy?

What they said was:

“Mr. Trump, apparently seeking to cut the intelligence community, State Department, and other agencies out of the policy-making process almost entirely, may have triggered a conflict whose escalation we are seeing in the rising number of leaks.”

Officials, deprived of the usual levers for shaping policies that are supposed to be their purview, are left with little other than leaking.”

Trump was clearly trying to cut public officials out of the democratic process, and they had no choice but to resort to these “illegal” leaks!

I mean, I’m pretty sure you don’t get elected to be a CIA spy or NSA agent, but somebody up top is and…well, I don’t know if they did the leaks…and I don’t know if the leaks are really true or not…but I’m telling you – we have to get Donald out NOW!

Anything that’s bad for Trump must be good. It’s really that simple, so case closed.

“We’re in a world now where the president is playing to the edge of his powers, and I think there are real concerns about the constitutional implications of some of the actions he’s taken,” said somebody who must be totally objective and perfect because why else would the New York Times choose them?

If there’s one thing Obama never, ever, ever did it was to expand his executive authority in ways unbeseeming to the presidential authority.

If Obama had done that, I would have been in the streets, you can bet! Trust me: I have my anti-Trump “pussy hat” in my closet and ready for the next protest!

Don’t bring up “drones”! You’ll just remind me of this guy at work nobody understands – Fazlollah “Lefty” Bittermani – he’s always doing that!

Between you and me, his last name ends in a vowel, so…you know….he may have certain sympathies. That guy really cheeses me off!

What Lefty doesn’t realize is that we are at war – not with Russia, yet – but with – not Muslims – but with…certain people, let’s just say. And the president has the right to fight war however he wants.

But when it comes to waging diplomacy the president must be restricted as much as possible!

We refuse to accept Hillary’s defeat until the Russians give back the Donbass to the Crimeans! This is simply a question of our humanitarian rights!

Trump is trying to make a liar out of not just Hillary, but of Sylvester Stallone and “Rocky IV” – even when the Russians cheat they are still supposed to lose to the Americans!

Was I back on Russia again? I don’t know…I’m like, obsessed with them, or something?

Back to the New York Times, which always reassures me when contradictions confuse me. Just after that last quote they wrote this:

That has forced officials in agencies to ask how far they will go themselves. As each side begins to perceive itself as under attack and the other as making dangerous power-grabs, it will justify more and more extreme behavior.

So clearly, these officials are justified more and more in extreme behavior…because it’s Trump!

I really wish we had some of these great, extreme officials during the Dubya era, but why bring up ancient history?

One thing is certain: During just four weeks in office Trump has clearly destroyed the culture and future of the United States and must be impeached. These officials – even if they are unelected – should absolutely not be listening to their elected leader!

Why? Well just read the next paragraph, another unassailable analyst of the Times:

“In President Trump, you have a president whose behavior shocks even more than the content of his policies.”

Yes! Behavior, not content!

I was telling my son this recently: He came in 19th place in a recent science competition (but out of 24!), and he was upset that his blue ribbon wasn’t an actual trophy.

I told him, “Son, I’m going to buy you that trophy because your behavior was correct, even if you totally screwed up measuring the contents of your volcano experiment, and it exploded and burned the girl next to you.”

I think the girl was Russian, anyway. She was certainly shocked.

Anyway, the Times goes on to say that now this dangerous Trump wants to appoint someone to review our intelligence agencies. Astounding, the gall of this man! I really think he’s psychologically insane.

“It looks, sounds and feels like a political witch hunt,” said Analyst #1 (the White one, not the Egyptian one). “It’s like pouring gasoline on the fire.”

It certainly does!

What else do you call our top elected official trying to find out what work is being illegally done in secret with taxpayer money?

I am certain this is something Putin would do with his KGB.

And that’s why Russia is not free – because the KGB cannot operate freely to undermine Putin’s attempts at diplomacy!

Don’t tell me I’m wrong, comrade!

“Mr. Flynn, in his short tenure, exemplified the breakdown between the president’s inner circle and career civil servants. He kept the National Security Council largely shut out of policy-making and sought sweeping changes in foreign policy.”

This is the US, not the USSR! Our career bureaucrats need to be in charge, not our elected officials!

Trump simply cannot make sweeping changes to foreign policy – even if he was democratically elected on that mandate – because career civil servants should run the show!

The next paragraph:

“For concerned government officials, leaks may have become one of the few remaining means by which to influence not just Mr. Flynn’s policy initiatives but the threat he seemed to pose to their place in democracy.”

Democracy is bureaucracy!

You vote for a person, they appoint an official, the person you voted for gets voted out of office, but the appointed official stays forever and amasses power – democracy!

I tried to explain this to that Egyptian guy, but he said,

“Then what’s the point of demonstrating and facing down gun barrels if the people can’t demand change?”

I kept telling him:

“But Israel is fine these days? Tahrir worked out great!”

He didn’t get it.

Anyway, Egypt is not the country who is threatening American democracy, and I don’t have to tell you who is, because I’ve just taken that pill that helps me with my compulsive psychological issues.

The Times continued:

Even if each individual leak is justifiable, as insubordination becomes more sustained and overt, it inches deeper into the gray zone of counter-democratic activities.

I already had the feeling that every anti-Trump leaks was justifiable, and that we are still many, many inches away from counter-democracy, so thanks Gray Lady! I almost had to take that other pill for my anxiety!

And “insubordination” is clearly justified because, as I said, in 4 weeks Trump has already proven himself to be a new Hitler! Don’t get me started on Steve Bannon!

“I don’t think you can say in advance what inappropriate deep-state activity would look like, because we haven’t seen this before,” said Analyst #1.

Exactly – this is a totally new day, and this was all appropriate deep-state activity. We’ve never seen anything like this in the history of the world, much less America.

I told this to Lefty back at work and he started ranting about Kennedy. I totally did not see what Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy had to do with this, but who can fathom what goes on in the mind of a Fazlollah?

The main thing is that we get Trump before he does damage to free trade, because my corporation and all businesses are totally helpless against the government.

They have no influence at all…unlike Egypt.

“There, ‘the deep state is not official institutions rebelling,’ he said, but rather ‘shadowy networks within those institutions, and within business, who are conspiring together and forming parallel state institutions.’”

We all know that there is absolutely nothing like this which is happening in America.

And that’s why the idea of business being involved in America’s Deep State did not appear until the 7th-to-last paragraph. I almost didn’t read that far!

And that’s why the New York Times finished on this heartening note:

“This war between the intelligence community and the White House is bad for the intelligence community, bad for the White House, and bad for the nation’s security.”

See? Our so-called Deep State has nothing to do with business. The New York Times is right next to Wall Street, so they would surely know, right?

Now if you’ll excuse me I have to make a call to the Pentagon for my work.

No, I’m in defense contracting or anything, but the Pentagon is the world’s largest employer…hard to work around them in the United States!

And the profit margins – wow!

I’m so glad our owners had a personal contact in there.

Frankly, I thought the New York Times’ headline was a bit too alarmist: “As Leaks Multiply, Fears of a ‘Deep State’ in America”.

But I’m glad they immediately put those fears to rest.

With that content, I would have run a headline like: “Internal leaks justified as Trump could affect share prices”.

I think that would have been more accurate.

Frankly I’m a bit surprised such a non-story could bump Russia off the front page?

The mainstream corporate media is visibly dying-out in the United States and around the world — and their problems are about to get worse: Anti-Media just rolled out its new project, “The Homepage of Independent Media.”

Anti-Media’s new homepage is the new destination for independent thinkers looking for real anti-establishment news sources free of corporate bias and the fake news of the mainstream media. “The Homepage of Independent Media” has partnered with The Mind Unleashed and dozens of other hard hitting news and information sites from across the political spectrum to create a “one-stop-shop” for news junkies to find the stories, articles, videos and other content they won’t see anywhere else. We no longer have to hope that Facebook’s notoriously biased algorithm decides to show us news from the outlets we already follow.

But wait, it gets better. Anti-Media has not only created a new home for the rapidly growing independent media movement, it has put you in charge of deciding what’s on the homepage. With Anti-Media’s new Reddit style algorithmic upvote/downvote system, you tell the site which stories should be on the front page using their social content curation system.

There’s even more. Once you create an account on using just an email and password, you will be able to submit news stories yourself in the “MY NEWS” section of the Anti-Media homepage. Any news articles, videos, social media posts, or even photos you think are newsworthy can be posted. Anti-Media’s editorial team will quickly check the link’s factual accuracy, make sure it’s less than two days old (or relevant to current news), and then it will be live. With a few upvotes from other Anti-Media readers and friends, the link you submitted could be on the front page of Anti-Media! People who work with independent news outlets who aren’t official Anti-Media partners yet can also submit links in the “MY NEWS” section to get their content on the homepage.

The Internet is the Wild West of information and Anti-Media’s “Homepage of Independent Media” is here to help us make sense of it all. By bringing together dozens of independent news outlets from across the political and ideological spectrum, Anti-Media aims to create an ever-improving ecosystem of reliable factual news and information that challenges the status-quo. In the face of encroaching government censorship and algorithmic bias by Internet gatekeepers Facebook and Google, now is the time to join The Mind Unleashed and support the independent media movement by making your news homepage.

Dissecting This Week’s Unfolding Events

I got the chance to dialogue with Don Grahn from Seattle Community Media again [see link below] over the major events unfolding this past week, from the Fukushima radiation disaster to the Oroville Damn potential disaster to the current takedown of the treasonous anti-Trump coup after the political assassination of Michael Flynn as his now former national security advisor. The consequences of this subversive overthrow in process has Trump now succumbing to the larger diabolical systemic forces that are the predatory vultures circling around him as they move in for the kill.

The outcome appears to be full speed ahead with world war against Russia along with China and Iran… anything but the non-interventionist approach that Trump promised during his campaign. He assured us that the US would no longer be meddling and interfering with other sovereign nations’ internal affairs. But the neocons are still very much in charge as they have for nearly four decades now. Just as Obama perpetrated the same aggressive madness of the Cheney-Bush foreign policy, so is Trump continuing this same homicidal and suicidal path towards cataclysmic endgame oblivion. Trump is once again proving that the puppet occupying the White House is merely the public face tool of the New World Order’s international crime cabal.

There is one current development still offering a glimmer of hope for radical change although I won’t be holding my breath waiting for it. But there does appear to be more of an international movement in law enforcement to crack down on the growing epidemic of global child sex slavery trafficking networks that the Clintons have been running. The parasitic scum of the earth’s elite engaging in the abduction, trafficking, raping and killing of children that’s been going on for centuries are being rounded up and arrested globally at unprecedented rates now. Even the likes of the Clintons, the McCains, the Grahams and Schumers may not be immune from prosecution. Currently the lower level criminals that recruit and trap child victims for these international rings are being arrested in sweeps across the globe. If the most powerful at the top of this demonic food chain are exposed and brought to justice, humanity may still have a chance. The swamp getting drained is still a long shot possibility but one, if accomplished, provides our best chance to remove the scum ruling this planet and begin turning things around before it’s too late. It’s our best hope of averting what will be the earth’s sixth mass life extinction and first caused by a handful of subhuman genocidal psychopaths.

[Ed.: Send the man some money while you contemplate the irony of a landmark ruling allowing the WaPo and The Grey Lady, now both deeply-immersed in selling lies for the Deep State, to publish the Pentagon Papers which some openly question as distraction or disinformation “to distract people not only from the CIA’s crimes in Vietnam but also from the idea that there was anything wrong with the Gulf of Tonkin incidents”.

Then consider that Archibald MacLeish “attended the Hotchkiss School from 1907 to 1911 before entering Yale University, where he majored in English, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and was selected for the Skull and Bones society. Over the next twelve months academic specialists from fields ranging from geography to classical philology descended upon Washington, bringing with them their most promising graduate students, and set up shop in the headquarters of the Research and Analysis (R&A) Branch at Twenty-third and E Streets, and in the new annex to the Library of Congress. During World War II MacLeish also served as director of the War Department’s Office of Facts and Figures and as the assistant director of the Office of War Information. These jobs were heavily involved with propaganda, which was well-suited to MacLeish’s talents; he had written quite a bit of politically motivated work in the previous decade. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree validating identification documents issued by the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics in eastern Ukraine. US national, who spent 2 years in eastern Ukraine and currently works at Novorossiya Today Press Center Zak Novak, spoke to Radio Sputnik about this decision.

“The recognition of all documents was a message to the West, to McCain, to Ukraine that these are now our people and we have every right to defend them with this signature of Vladimir Putin,” Novak said.

However the decree does not give the citizens living in Donetsk and Lugansk Russian citizenship, they are just given an opportunity to cross into Russian territory if they want to.

Talking about that, Novak said that this gives the people an opportunity to find protection in Russia.

Top 3 lies told by Insane McCain at the Munich Security Conference

At the Munich Security Conference, US Senator John McCain (R-AZ) used the stage to deride President Trump, tell tall tales about the Russian aggression, and declare the West’s superiority over everyone else.

TRUMP: It’s in our interest to get along with Russia because ‘nuclear holocaust would be like no other'”.  In case you need a reminder of how things really stand, the Traditional Enemies Of Peace mock him for this!

““That War You Ordered….””:

“The next disturbing element of the situation is all the war-drum beating by the same cast of characters: the IC, the Democratic Party, and major media. Why in hell are we antagonizing Russia? In the last month of Obama’s term — and for the first time in many years — NATO moved a bunch of tanks close to Russia’s border with the Baltic states. Do you really think Russia wants to reoccupy these countries for the pleasure of subsidizing them and draining the Russian treasury? In those twilight days of Obama, government officials made wild and unspecific charges about “Russian aggression,” and vague assertions about Russian plans to dominate the global scene. Major what-the-fuck there. There’s the ugly situation in Ukraine, of course, but that was engineered by Obama’s state department. Do you know why Russia annexed Crimea after that? It couldn’t have been for more transparently rational reasons. And what exactly is our beef with Russia in Syria? That they’re trying to prop up the Assad government because the last thing the Middle East needs is another failed state with no government whatsoever? What’s our plan for Syria, anyway? Same as Somalia, Iraq, and Libya? These stories about Russia’s intentions seem insane on their face. It’s amazing that readers of The New York Times swallow them whole. It must say something about the deterioration of the coastal gene pool. The story-mongers have a purpose though: to promote a state of permanent hostility, neo-cold-war style, to justify the grotesquely overgrown operations of the IC.”

More About Russia and Less About Flynn?” (Giraldi):

“Some suggest that the intelligence community is also on board with this sentiment, though that is often dismissively attributed to a desire for larger budgets and increased turf in Washington. But my own recent encounters with intelligence officers of the current generation has led me to believe something quite different—that many people in the IC really have come to believe that Russia is a major and very active threat against the United States, just like in the old days with the Soviet Union. I assume they have come to that conclusion through their understanding of developments in Syria and Ukraine, but I nevertheless fail to understand how they have adopted that point of view given the real limitations on Russian power. Whatever the reason, they believe in their Russophobia passionately, and I have discovered that arguing with those who are fixated on Moscow as the fons et origo of global chaos is futile.

To my mind, this makes the officials who shared the phone transcripts much more dangerous than conventional leakers motivated by some personal grievance or desire to right a wrong. I fear that the current crop of Russia skeptics are true believers of the worst kind and will do whatever it takes to disrupt any moves toward rapprochement between Washington and Moscow. Exposing a highly classified sigint-derived phone call of a soon-to-be high U.S. official might reasonably be described as an extreme initiative.

So it seems that the destruction of Flynn, involving as it may have a number of leakers coming from all across the intelligence community, might be part of a coordinated effort to narrow the Trump White House’s options for dealing with Russia. Many in Washington do not want a comfortable working relationship with Putin in spite of the fact that a reset with Moscow should be the No. 1 national-security objective. There are already multiple investigations of Russia underway in Congress with calls for more, but exploiting the vulnerable Flynn might have been seen as providing the best opportunity to do something really disruptive before any change in the direction of foreign policy can take place.”

America’s Dirty History Exposed: FBI Investigated U.S.-Backed Assassination of Salvadoran Archbishop”:

“Asked why the FBI would conduct an investigation that could implicate the U.S. government, Karl attributes it to politics. During the investigations, a man widely believed to have played a prominent role in Romero’s assassination, Roberto D’Aubuisson, was campaigning for president of El Salvador against the U.S. government’s preferred candidate, José Napoleón Duarte (who was later found to be a CIA asset). As Karl put it, “one of the reasons you see so many FBI investigations is because the FBI, the United States would have loved to pin the murder of Archbishop Romero on him [D’Aubisson] not necessarily making it public, by the way, but having it over him. They wanted to use it.” To put it simply, for blackmail.

Washington preferred Duarte because, as Karl explained, “The United States government felt that if D’Aubisson was elected president that the [American] Congress, which had had a very big opposition to [military] aid to El Salvador, would probably cut off aid…[D’Aubisson] was the death squad leader and everybody knew it and therefore it wasn’t going to fly, in the Congress. It might’ve been fine elsewhere but it wasn’t going to be good in the Congress.””

It’s wonderfully clarifying to see pearl-clutching liberals conflate journalists (David Bloom, Jeremy Little, Alaa Aziz) with giant media conglomerates (NBC, ABC, CNN). Of course, plenty of little puppies in the press are dogpiling on Trump’s tweet, which tells you a lot about them, too. For myself, I’m perfectly happy to declare the corporate products of media concentration “enemies of the American people,” and let’s be sure to add Facebook to the list, along whatever that rag is — I forget the name — that got us into Iraq with its WMDs disinformation campaign. Even if Trump “didn’t really mean that.”

Gates, who has spent much of the last 20 years funding a global health campaign, said: “We ignore the link between health security and international security at our peril.”

Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft who has spent billions in a philanthropic drive to improve health worldwide, said: “The next epidemic could originate on the computer screen of a terrorist intent on using genetic engineering to create a synthetic version of the smallpox virus … or a super contagious and deadly strain of the flu.”

Gates, making his first appearance at the Munich security conference on Saturday, said: “Whether it occurs by a quirk of nature or at the hand of a terrorist, epidemiologists say a fast-moving airborne pathogen could kill more than 30 million people in less than a year. And they say there is a reasonable probability the world will experience such an outbreak in the next 10 to 15 years.”

The police chief investigating claims that Sir Edward Heath was a paedophile is convinced the allegations are ‘120 per cent’ genuine, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

More than 30 people have come forward with claims of sexual abuse by the former Conservative Prime Minister, according to well-placed sources.

And they are said to have given ‘strikingly similar’ accounts of incidents to Wiltshire Police – even though the individuals are not known to each other.

The Mail on Sunday has been told that Wiltshire Chief Constable Mike Veale regards the allegations as ‘totally convincing’, and plans to publish a report in June.

Detectives have established that, contrary to claims that Sir Edward could not have committed the crimes as he ‘never drove a car’ and ‘always’ had a police driver with him, he did drive – and did have a car.

They have photographic evidence that shows he is a driver, and have established that he had a driving licence. He also bought a Rover 2000 after being deposed as Tory leader by Margaret Thatcher in 1975, when he was 58.

Astonishingly, Mr Veale is also understood to support claims that Sir Edward’s alleged crimes were reported to police years ago but covered up by the Establishment.

Some of those who said Sir Edward abused them are believed to have told police they went on to commit sexual abuse crimes themselves as a result.

The investigation into Sir Edward, called Operation Conifer, was set up in 2015 in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal.

Did you know that 4,000 world leaders from 130 different countries gathered in Dubai this week for the World Government Summit? It was held from February 12th to February 14th, and it featured more than 100 internationally-known speakers including UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Christine Lagarde and Elon Musk. If you would like to know more about this shadowy group, you can visit the official website right here. The first World Government Summit was held back in 2013, and that one was actually attended by Barack Obama. Unfortunately the mainstream media in the United States was almost entirely silent about this summit, so most of us in the western world didn’t even hear about it. “… Nimrod’s world government in ancient times attempted to push God out of the picture, and the same thing is true with the globalists of today.

The globalists dream of a utopia where humanity has been united under a one world government, a one world economy and a one world religion. Donald Trump stands opposed to this twisted dream, and that is why the globalists hate him so much.

And the globalists understand the power of symbols very well. The erecting of this arch in Dubai at the exact same time the “World Government Summit” was being held sends a very powerful message…..”

“THERE WAS A time—not very long ago—when the very idea of advanced artificial intelligence was discussed only by futurists, speculators, and sci-fi writers. But today, due to swift developments in machine learning and data analysis, AI is on the cusp of surpassing science fiction and becoming science fact.

“But wait!” you say. “It’s not like I have a robot butler who makes me martinis and has a steak ready when I come home from work.” OK, fair point. While we don’t quite have mechanical servants making us cocktails and prepping our meals (yet), a surprising amount of innovative artificial intelligence is woven into the fabric of the technology we use on a daily basis.

A lot of it is easy to spot. Virtual digital assistants live in our phones and on our computers, even inhabit our portable speakers. We use voice commands to schedule events, look up recipes, and tell us how our fantasy sports team is fairing. Our home-streaming queues seem to grow smarter and better focused every day, making recommendations that can sometimes feel like they were plucked from the deepest desires of our psyches.

The devices and products we use daily are progressively getting smarter due to advances in what’s commonly called machine learning. The idea is basically this: If you take enormous computing power (say, home-streaming servers) and feed it tremendous amounts of data (say, from hundreds of millions of users), you end up getting an artificial intelligence network that can interact with people in the real world in a useful way….”

Flashback 2013: Jeff Bezos Is Doing Huge Business with the CIA, While Keeping His Washington Post Readers in the Dark

Not only do I buy a lot of homeschooling books for my children from Amazon, but Cryptogon depends on affiliate commissions from Amazon.

Several retailers in New Zealand simply buy stuff at retail from Amazon and then send it over to NZ. (That should give you an idea of how broken retailing is in NZ and how expensive things are here.)

And Amazon is a major contractor for the CIA.

The next deadly worldwide epidemic could happen at the hand of a terrorist, employing biotechnology for an attack, Bill Gates has warned at the Munich Security Conference. The Microsoft founder also compared the pandemic to nuclear war and climate change.

The next epidemic could originate on the computer screen of a terrorist intent on using genetic engineering to create a synthetic version of the smallpox virus … or a super contagious and deadly strain of the flu,”  he warned in a speech published by Business Insider.

11 Deeply Alarming Facts About America’s Crumbling Infrastructure

February 17, 2017 by kristalklear

#1 According to the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, nearly 56,000 bridges in the United States are currently “structurally deficient”.  What makes that number even more chilling is the fact that vehicles cross those bridges a total of 185 million times a day.

#2 More than one out of every four bridges in the United States is more than 50 years old and “have never had major reconstruction work”.

#3 America does not have a single airport that is considered to be in the top 25 in the world.

#4 The average age of America’s dams is now 52 years.

#5 Not too long ago, the American Society of Civil Engineers gave the condition of America’s dams a “D” grade.

#6 Overall, the American Society of Civil Engineers said that the condition of America’s infrastructure as a whole only gets a “D+” grade.

#7 Congestion on our highways costs Americans approximately 101 billion dollars a year in wasted fuel and time.

#8 According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, over two-thirds of our roads are “in dire need of repair or upgrades”.

#9 In order to completely fix all of our roads and bridges, it would take approximately 808 billion dollars.

#10 Federal spending on infrastructure has decreased by 9 percent over the past decade.

#11 According to Bloomberg, it is being projected “that by 2025, shortfalls in infrastructure investment will subtract as much as $3.9 trillion from U.S. gross domestic product.”

‘World Government’: A Former ‘Conspiracy’ Myth is Now Emerging from the Shadows

French police have been filmed fleeing from armed mobs as riots continue in Paris for the second week and the unrest has now spread to the city centre. Hundreds of violent thugs took to the streets on Wednesday night near the Barbes Metro station, close to the major transport hub Gare du Nord. Windows were smashed, shops looted, fires lit, main roads blocked, and police cars targeted during the disturbance.

Juan Pablo Escobar Henao, son of notorious Medellín cartel drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar, now says his father “worked for the CIA.” In a new book, “Pablo Escobar In Fraganti,” Escobar, who lives under the pseudonym, Juan Sebastián Marroquín, explains his “father worked for the CIA selling cocaine to finance the fight against Communism in Central America.” “The drug business is very different than what we dreamed,” he continues. “What the CIA was doing was buying the controls to get the drug into their country and getting a wonderful deal.” “He did not make the money alone,” Marroquín elaborated in an interview, “but with US agencies that allowed him access to this money. He had direct relations with the CIA.” SOURCE: CLAIRE BERNISH

Glenn Greenwald appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight on Wednesday for yet another truth bombing after The Intercept co-founder, attorney, and author penned an article on the deeply flawed DNC’s inability to cope with loss. As Greenwald and others have pointed out since the election, Democrats seem to have a major problem with introspection. I get it – admitting fault means being wrong, and for a party built upon emotionalism and condescending moralization instead of facts and common sense, being wrong strips the self-righteous DNC of the one argument they’ve built their entire platform on; we’re right because we say we are. Starting on February 4th, each day Wikileaks began sending out a series of cryptic question Tweets teasing the world about “Vault 7”. The questions were framed in Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How format (but not in that order). Each came with an image “clue”. Here they are in chronological order starting with the earliest.

“… Trump’s National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn, wanted to normalize relations with Russia. He rejected the flagrantly hostile approach of the US foreign policy establishment. That’s why he had to be removed. And, that’s why he’s been so viciously attacked in the media and why the threadbare story about his contacts with the Russian ambassador were used to force his resignation. This isn’t about the law and it isn’t about the truth. It’s about bare-knuckle geopolitics and global hegemony. Flynn got in the way of the pivot, so Flynn had to be eliminated. End of story.….”

Trump has people stressed out, psychological association’s poll shows

[Ed.: This was variably and previously entitled ‘politics has people stressed out’, so here we see a clear attempt at demonization. Given that the same people who’ve gone after Trump wrote the book on how to induce stress in a population (alternately described as mind control, psychological warfare, etc.), they are now engaging in psychological warfare on the American people. Trump was right: the media are at war with the American people.

Furthermore, you can see that the history of the American Psychological Association is tied up with Bush’s torture strategies and was itself a product of the illuminatist society Skull and Bones; you ouight to read that book, especially its appendices which list the curriculum vitae in brief of every member by which you can track their arc through American society. ]

New Cold War

Game On East vs. West, again Andrew Cockburn, Harpers. Mark P:

If you want to have big platform military spending — big platforms being aircraft carriers, new missile systems, F35s, giant artillery and similar hugely expensive weapons systems — you need a big platform enemy. That leaves nobody but the Russkies.

Thus, what we’re seeing in the media. As I know you guys know, McMansions in Virginia and other DC suburbs have already been purchased and lavishly remodeled on the expectation of MIC contracts that are now jeopardized by Trump’s accession.

But some of your readers don’t seem to fully get it. ‘Game On East vs. West, again‘ by Andrew Cockburn is the definitive piece that I’ve seen on the forces pushing for Cold War 2.0 — who, what, why, when and where — even though it’s from HARPERS Jan 2015 issue.

[Ed.: It’s a sad statement that “Yves Smith” has to trot out the old 1977 Carl Bernstein article on the CIA and the media to make a point to readers, particularly after the past half-year.  Assuming that 23 years might be required for a newborn to get to some level of curiousity and reading/research skill, that still leaves an almost-van Winkle-like doze of fifteen years.]

“… Are we witnessing a criminal assault against our Constitutional system by a bunch of Obama/Clinton linked “sore losers” who find themselves on the sidelines as the result of the November elections?  Has the MSM gone totally over to the dark side?  Is the plot against our Constitutional system coming from Moscow schemers or perhaps a network much closer to home, involving former President Barack Obama, George Soros and others who simply cannot believe that they have been cast out by American voters?

The rantings of the left that “Hillary Clinton won the popular vote and should have been president” betrays a total lack of understanding of our Constitutional Republic and the history of how we devised the Electoral College. What is more, if you look at a county-by-county map of the country, you see that, outside of California, which Clinton won by 4 million votes, the majority of voters went with Trump.  This was a repudiation of both the Bush and Obama presidencies, and the very people who dragged the country into permanent wars and Wall Street bailouts are now looking to bring down a duly elected President.  Does this smack of treason?….”

Reasons Why Michael Flynn Was Fatality #1 in the Trump Presidency Takedown

Rand Paul: “‘That is not just a leak,’ Paul said. ‘We’re talking about private information between high-ranking government officials and high-ranking foreign officials. If we’re going to release that to the press, that is very, very worrisome. And, in the process of that, we’re going to destroy people the intelligence community disagrees with?”

Lambert here: …. Sanders does not mention what is, in my mind, the key issue: Giving intelligence agencies veto power over the choice of a President is a change in the Constitutional order that won’t be undone. (Remember, we’ve never seen any actual evidence, or any named sources. Are we really going to impeach a President based on evidence the voters aren’t shown?) Garner, Assange, and Paul are, each in their own way, saying that this is a crossing the Rubicon moment. Sanders doesn’t say that, and I find that troubling. Second, and more diffusely: What the liberal Democrats have managed to foment with their Red Scare is a bubble (“epistemic closure”) comparable to that fomented by Republicans when they were executing their own soft coup against Bill Clinton. I don’t think Sanders, as a politician, has experience with that sort of voter or that sort of politics (granted, the BernieBros nonsense whipped up by the Marcottes of this world was bad enough, but “Clinton Derangement Syndrome” and the current Red Scare are orders of magnitude more freaky and deranged, like a horror movie where friends and neighbors turn into pod people). I don’t know if Sanders knows how to manage those currents.

IRS won’t withhold tax refunds if Americans ignore ACA insurance requirement WaPo. This undercuts the mandate, accelerating ObamaCare’s death spiral to an unknown degree (given that the mandate requirements were already pretty squishy). Of course, it’s always possible that Trump will replace the mandate with something worse, like a continuous coverage requirement, but in the short term, I’m sure there are plenty of taxpayers who will rejoice at no longer being penalized for failure to purchase a defective product.

Tweet (Julian Assange):

“Amazing battle for dominance is playing out between the elected US govt & the IC who consider themselves to be the ‘permanent government’.”

The phony story of the Clintonistas and the CIA about Russian control over Trump is ironically being used in an unconstitutional attempt to obtain control over Trump. I don’t know how much Trump fears actual assassination by these assholes, but a mass firing of specific officials might be the only thing standing between the United States and the replacement of its constitutional government by an CIA dictatorship.  Note how much real damage the War On Terror – a War For The Jews, naturally – has done to constitutional government in the United States.

Intelligence agencies clash with Trump over Russia allegations”.  You know something is tragically fucked up when Eli Lake is on the right side of an issue.

“”He Will Die In Jail” – Intelligence Community Ready To “Go Nuclear” On Trump”.  Dick pic opinion.

Note the danger in using the term Deep State (or even the vague IC) to describe what is going on.  This is essentially a CIA (+ partial FBI) attack against the Pentagon and Trump.  Flynn led the DIA, making him the hated competent intelligence competition for the CIA assholes (and this is the second time he lost in a CIA power move).  The details are important, and lost under this Deep State obfuscation.

Current days remind me of the time prior to the JFK assassination, when many disparate bipartisan interest groups, including the relatively tiny IC of the time (but not the Jew-controlled media, which was not yet Jew-controlled!), had serious problems with the elected President.  That assassination permanently fucked up the United States, but the people behind it, like the media/CIA/Clintonistas of today, thought they were doing God’s work in removing a truly dangerous man from power.

Typical inside-the-beltway navel gazing crisis – to the usual partisans, practically the apocalypse – has minimal to no effect elsewhere in the country (and isn’t even a legal issue).  The real issue isn’t Trump’s ability to govern, it is whether he fears the CIA’s show of power through blackmail, and will be influenced thereby to avoid necessary massive reforms.

Ignatius is obvious CIA, always has been.

In Egypt, the massive demonstrations that erupted in 2013 against the right-wing Muslim Brotherhood government were utilized by the military and its political agents to reestablish a military dictatorship two years after the downfall of the US-backed dictator Hosni Mubarak.

The political situation poses immense dangers. The brutal character of the Trump administration does not make its opponents in the intelligence agencies any less reactionary. They are conspiring to unleash not only bigger and more bloody wars abroad, but also war on the working class at home. The same think tanks that call for war preparations against Russia in order to maintain US domination of Eurasia insist that workers in the United States must be made to “sacrifice”—in the form of massive cuts in social programs and pensions—to pay for a huge increase in military spending.”

The college student who took video of a human sexuality instructor telling a class that Republican President Donald Trump’s election was an “act of terrorism” got suspended from the California school for one semester.

Donald Trump has asked a New York billionaire to conduct a review of U.S. intelligence agencies and other aspects of the federal government, current and former officials told NBC News.

Trump’s expected appointment of Steve Feinberg, co-founder and chief executive of Cerberus Capital Management, is causing consternation inside the intelligence agencies, former senior intelligence officials say.

A senior administration official says Feinberg still needs to be cleared by the Office of Government Ethics, which is complicated because Cerberus owns many different companies, some of which have financial relationships with the U.S. government.

But there were indications Thursday that Trump’s plans could be changing.

Current and former intelligence officials told NBC News that Trump’s pick to be director of national intelligence, Sen. Dan Coats of Indiana, was annoyed that the news of Feinberg’s role was breaking before Coats’s Senate confirmation, expected next week.

Asked at a White House news conference if Feinberg would conduct an intelligence review, Trump said, “I think that we are going to be able to straighten it out very easily on its own.”

Trump called Feinberg “a very talented man, very successful man,” and said, “he’s offered his services and you know, it’s something we may take advantage of.”

One former official, who speaks regularly to current senior officials, called Feinberg’s expected role an “extra-constitutional process,” and said Trump believes the intelligence community “needs to be threshed and cleaned and bent to the will of the executive.”

At the same time, he said, there is certainly a need to reimagine aspects of the U.S. intelligence apparatus.

“You would not build the IC the way it is today if you had a clean sheet of paper.”

In an interview with NBC News, Michael Hayden, a retired Air Force general who ran the CIA and National Security Agency, agreed. But he added that “a major restructuring is not what’s called for here.”

If Feinberg’s task “is to reduce the influence of the DNI, if it’s designed to undercut what has so far been contrary views, then that is extremely troubling,” another former senior intelligence official said.

After attacking the intelligence agencies during the campaign over their finding that Russia tried to help elect him, Trump sought to patch up the relationship, praising the spies in a trip to the CIA. But in recent days he has pointed a finger again over the scandal that engulfed his national security adviser, Mike Flynn.

“The NSA and the FBI should not interfere in our politics,” he tweeted Wednesday. In another tweet, he asserted that “information is being illegally given (to newspapers) by the intelligence community (NSA and FBI?) Just like Russia.”

Feinberg, 56, a major Republican donor, is worth $1.27 billion, according to Forbes magazine. Cerberus employs former Treasury Secretary John Snow and former Vice President Dan Quayle, both Republicans.

Feinberg donated $200,000 in 2015 to Jeb Bush’s “Right to Rise” super PAC. In 2016, he gave nearly $1.5 million to a pro-Trump group, Rebuilding America Now,” according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a non-partisan group that tracks political donations.

Feinberg and Cerberus came under scrutiny in 2012, when a mentally disturbed man shot and killed 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, using a Bushmaster rifle made by Freedom Group Inc., a company owned by Cerberus.

After complaints by investors, Feinberg tried to sell Freedom Group, but could not fetch the $1 billion price tag he sought, according to news reports. Instead, Feinberg came up with a way that individual Cerberus fund investors could sell their stakes in Freedom Group. Cerberus continues to own the arms maker.

Cerberus also owns DynCorp, which is a major national security contractor with the U.S. government, charging billions for overseas military and police training, among other things.

psychological inoculation

psychological inoculation

One of the most favored propaganda tactics of establishment elites and the useful idiots they employ in Marxist and cultural-Marxist circles is to relabel or redefine an opponent before they can solidly define themselves.  In other words, elites and Marxists will seek to “brand” you (just as corporations use branding) in the minds of the masses so that they can take away your ability to define yourself as anything else.

Think of it this way: Say you want to launch an organization called “Movement Blue,” and you and others have gone through great struggle to grow this organization from the ground up.  However, just as your movement is about to achieve widespread recognition, someone else comes along, someone with extensive capital and media influence, and they saturate every outlet with the narrative that your movement is actually more like “Movement Red,” and that Movement Red is a terrible, no-good, bad idea.  They do such a good job, in fact, that millions and millions of people start calling you “Movement Red” without even knowing why, and they begin to believe all the negative associations that this label entails.

Through the art of negative branding, your enemy has stolen your most precious asset — the ability to present yourself to the public as you really are.

Negative branding is a form of psychological inoculation.  It is designed to close people’s minds to particular ideas before they actually hear those ideas presented by a true proponent of the ideas.  But beyond that, negative branding can also be used to trick groups and movements into abandoning their original identity.

For example, the concept of economic freedom for individuals –the freedom from overt government interference or government favoritism for certain people over others, the freedom to compete with ideas and ingenuity to build a better business and a better product, the freedom to retain the fruits of one’s labor — used to be widely referred to as “free markets”, as defined by Adam Smith.  The very basis of free market philosophy was to remove obstruction and economic oppression from the common man in order to inspire a renaissance in innovation and prosperity.  The problem is, you rarely hear anyone but libertarians talk about traditional “free markets” anymore.

Though Karl Marx did not coin the term “capitalism,” he and his followers (and editors) are indeed guilty of the pejorative version now used.  It has always been Marxist propagandists who have sought to redefine the idea of “free markets” in a negative way, and the use of the term capitalism is how they did it.  They have been so effective in their efforts that today even some free market proponents instead refer to themselves as “capitalists.”

While “free markets” denote freedom of the common man to pursue a better life through productivity and intelligence and merit, “capitalism” denotes a monstrous and blind pursuit of wealth and power without moral regard.  One gives the impression of fairness, the other gives the impression of tyranny.

Is there even such an animal as “capitalism?”  I can’t really say.  What I do know is that the system we have today, a hybrid mutation of corporatism and socialism, is certainly NOT a free market system if we are to follow the true definition and the original intent.  Yet, whenever cultural and economic Marxists attack the notion of economic freedom, they use the system we have now as an example of the failures of “free market capitalism.”

This is the magic of negative branding, and it is used in every facet of social life and geopolitics.

Now, before I get into the term “populist,” I recognize that people opposed to my position will immediately spring into a tirade about how liberty and sovereignty champions brand those against our ideals “in the exact same way.”  This is not quite true, though.

When we refer to “globalists” in a negative manner, we are taking a pre-existing label, something that they often call themselves, and pointing out that their philosophy is flawed and highly destructive based on historical evidence and verifiable facts.  We are not seeking to redefine them as anything other than what they already are.  We are merely exposing to the public what they OPENLY promote and believe and then offer our side and our evidence as to why their beliefs are wrong.

This is not what they do to us.  Instead, globalists and their cronies prefer that the public does not get to hear our views directly from us.  They rarely, if ever, actually use our publications as a source for their attacks on our principles.  They would much rather tell the public what we are and what we believe before they are ever exposed to us.  This is why you will often find that many participants in protest groups at events held by anti-globalists like Ben Shapiro or Milo Yiannopoulos have never actually seen or heard a single speech by the men in question.  They have no idea what we really stand for.  In fact, they protest our speakers, groups and movements based on what they were told we stand for by other biased sources.

This brings us to “populism.”

There has been a deep and concerted propaganda campaign taking place against liberty activists, sovereignty champions, anti-globalists, anti-SJW groups, and conservatives in general.  I noticed this particular campaign accelerating at the beginning of 2016, and it was the primary reason why I chose to take a hard stance on my predictions for Brexit passage and a Trump election win.  The propaganda narrative could be summarized as follows:Since early 2016 (according to globalists and the mainstream publications featuring their opinions), there has been a rising tide of nationalists and “populists” in western nations.  This sudden surge in “populism” is inexorably tied to the Brexit movement and the support for candidates like Donald Trump.  Populism will overrun the existing “stability” of globalism and cause severe economic crisis in numerous countries.  It finds its roots in the “less educated” portions of the population, as well as in older generations that think they have something to lose if globalism succeeds.  It is also driven by an “irrational fear” of economic change, global interdependence and multiculturalism.  Populists are predominantly naive and desperate for “strongmen” leaders to fight for them.  Some of them are motivated by self interest, while others are motivated by racism.

You can see these sentiments expressed bluntly in numerous mainstream media outlets.  The Guardian has no qualms about linking the Brexit to “racism” and populism, for example.  The Washington Post also has had no problem linking the Tea Party and Trump supporters to racism and populism as well.

Beyond the paper-thin accusations of racism, the general thrust of the negative branding is clear; if you are against globalism (or elitism) and its major tenets, then you are a “populist.”  This is reiterated in recent articles from Bloomberg and The Guardian.

But in such publications, the most egregious argument is the one that is not directly made.  The insinuation is that “populism” is not just defined by a fear of corruption through organized elitism, but that this fear is UNFOUNDED.  Meaning, anyone who argues against the mechanizations of globalists, for instance, is not only redefined as a “populist,” but he/she is also, essentially, ignorant or insane.  See how that works?

The populist label is often used to describe a political movement built on the cult of personality, a sycophantic love affair with a celebrity dictator that tends to have ulterior motives.  Thus, the philosophical underpinnings of that particular movement are further eroded because they don’t even know why they are doing what they are doing; they are only playing a foolish game of follow the leader.

So, to recap, according to the establishment and their “press,” conservatives and sovereignty activists are actually “populists.” Our concerns over uncontrolled immigration and open borders are not based on rationalism and historic evidence of social and economic instability as well as the highly evidenced threats of terrorism; they are based on “xenophobia.”

Our concerns over the increasing fiscal weakness generated by the economic interdependence of globalism and our lack of self reliance are not based on math and logic, but our “lack of understanding” on how interdependence makes everything better.

Our concerns over rampant organized elitism and the corruption this entails are not based on numerous concrete examples, not to mention exposed documentation and the words of elitists themselves; they are based on a “fantasy world” of “tinfoil hatters” who just make stuff up while consuming heaping helpings of “fake news”.

If this is the case, then I suppose I should fasten my own tinfoil hat tightly and note that this narrative is part of an ongoing long-game by globalists.  They are not attempting to achieve the demonization of conservatives and sovereignty advocates today or tomorrow.  This is about preparing the public for a near future, perhaps five to 10 years from now, after they have sufficiently sabotaged the global economy and scapegoated us for the crisis this will cause.

Not possible, you say?  By all means, read my article ‘The False Economic Recovery Narrative Will Die In 2017’ for further explanation.  If we are not careful, we will be redefined not just by establishment propaganda, but by a global calamity that will be gift wrapped with our name on it and tied around our collective necks.

In the meantime, how do we fight back against this disinformation campaign?

One factor that a “populist movement” generally does not have is the ability to remain self-critical.  Populism, at least according to the mainstream media, requires a mentality of mass blind faith in a cause that is misunderstood or a leader that is dishonest.  The liberty movement and conservative groups still have some members who are not afraid to point out when we are going astray in our logic or our actions.

We have not been silenced by our own peers, yet.  Given enough crisis, it is hard to say how people will react.  A major terrorist attack, an economic panic, a war; these kinds of rip-tides can inspire a lot of intolerance for contrary views.  We are not there at this point, and as long as members of our movement are able to retain a critical eye, we will never be “populists.”

Another method is to refrain from adopting the “branding” that the establishment tries to use against us.  Beware of anyone within our groups and organizations who begins referring to himself or us as “populists” as if this is a label of which we should be proud.

In the long run, people with ill intent will call us whatever they want to call us.  The real issue is, will those labels stick?  Will we help them to stick by losing our composure and acting the way the propagandists always said we would?

Negative branding is about burning a hole in the historical record, because memes last far longer than people.  In 100 years, how will we be remembered?  This is what the globalists value most – future impressions of today by generations not yet born.  Because wars are not just fought in one moment over one piece of ground or over one idea; they are fought in ALL moments, for days not yet passed, for the posterity of all ideas, even those not yet thought of.  If we do not fight back with this in mind, winning will be impossible.

on topic of Gen Flynn´s resignation intersting interview on Fox Business – Maria Bartiromo and Rep. Kusinich

More here:

“… the message from the Deep State to President Donald Trump is crystal clear:

The Deep State is fully in control, fully in charge, and we can even casually throw out your most important and sensitive appointment in your cabinet and administration to date – and so you better do exactly what we tell you to do, whenever we tell you to do it, and exactly in the manner that we prescribe.”

“Gentlemen! We have called you together to inform you that we are going to overthrow the United States government.” So begins a statement being delivered by Gen. Carl W. Steiner, former Commander-in-chief, U.S. Special Operations Command.

At least the voice sounds amazingly like him.

But it is not Steiner. It is the result of voice “morphing” technology developed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.

By taking just a 10-minute digital recording of Steiner’s voice, scientist George Papcun is able, in near real time, to clone speech patterns and develop an accurate facsimile. Steiner was so impressed, he asked for a copy of the tape.

Steiner was hardly the first or last victim to be spoofed by Papcun’s team members. To refine their method, they took various high quality recordings of generals and experimented with creating fake statements. One of the most memorable is Colin Powell stating “I am being treated well by my captors.”

“They chose to have him say something he would never otherwise have said,” chuckled one of Papcun’s colleagues.

A Box of Chocolates is Like War

Most Americans were introduced to the tricks of the digital age in the movie Forrest Gump, when the character played by Tom Hanks appeared to shake hands with President Kennedy.

For Hollywood, it is special effects. For covert operators in the U.S. military and intelligence agencies, it is a weapon of the future.

“Once you can take any kind of information and reduce it into ones and zeros, you can do some pretty interesting things,” says Daniel T. Kuehl, chairman of the Information Operations department of the National Defense University in Washington, the military’s school for information warfare.

PSYOPS seeks to exploit human vulnerabilities in enemy governments, militaries and populations.

Digital morphing — voice, video, and photo — has come of age, available for use in psychological operations. PSYOPS, as the military calls it, seek to exploit human vulnerabilities in enemy governments, militaries and populations to pursue national and battlefield objectives.

To some, PSYOPS is a backwater military discipline of leaflet dropping and radio propaganda. To a growing group of information war technologists, it is the nexus of fantasy and reality. Being able to manufacture convincing audio or video, they say, might be the difference in a successful military operation or coup.

Allah on the Holodeck

Pentagon planners started to discuss digital morphing after Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Covert operators kicked around the idea of creating a computer-faked videotape of Saddam Hussein crying or showing other such manly weaknesses, or in some sexually compromising situation. The nascent plan was for the tapes to be flooded into Iraq and the Arab world.

The tape war never proceeded, killed, participants say, by bureaucratic fights over jurisdiction, skepticism over the technology, and concerns raised by Arab coalition partners.

What if the U.S. projected a holographic image of Allah floating over Baghdad?

But the “strategic” PSYOPS scheming didn’t die. What if the U.S. projected a holographic image of Allah floating over Baghdad urging the Iraqi people and Army to rise up against Saddam, a senior Air Force officer asked in 1990?

According to a military physicist given the task of looking into the hologram idea, the feasibility had been established of projecting large, three-dimensional objects that appeared to float in the air.

But doing so over the skies of Iraq? To project such a hologram over Baghdad on the order of several hundred feet, they calculated, would take a mirror more than a mile square in space, as well as huge projectors and power sources.

And besides, investigators came back, what does Allah look like?

The Gulf War hologram story might be dismissed were it not the case that has learned that a super secret program was established in 1994 to pursue the very technology for PSYOPS application. The “Holographic Projector” is described in a classified Air Force document as a system to “project information power from space … for special operations deception missions.”

War is Like a Box of Chocolates

Voice-morphing? Fake video? Holographic projection? They sound more like Mission Impossible and Star Trek gimmicks than weapons. Yet for each, there are corresponding and growing research efforts as the technologies improve and offensive information warfare expands.

Whereas early voice morphing required cutting and pasting speech to put letters or words together to make a composite, Papcun’s software developed at Los Alamos can far more accurately replicate the way one actually speaks. Eliminated are the robotic intonations.

Reports: U.S. Intercepted Calls Between Trump Campaign Staff And Russian Intelligence : The Two-Way : NPR

Posted by Michele Kearney at 7:57 PM

Famous Russian phone pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov, known as Vovan and Lexus, have made hoax phone calls to US Senators Lindsey Graham, John McCain and Republican Majority leader Mitch McConnell into speaking about the sanctions against Russia, Kuznetsov told Sputnik.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The news comes as the pranksters called US Congresswoman Maxine Waters, the one who earlier claimed that “Putin is continuing to advance into Korea,” to say that Russia has invaded Limpopo, an African river that the politician believed to be a country in Africa.

Having introduced themselves as Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Kuznetsov and Stolyarov also discussed the sanctions against Russia with Waters.

Following the incident, Peskov said Kremlin was not linked to the prank phone calls and appreciated the fact that nobody had the idea to accuse Moscow of the tricks.

The sanctions issue was also discussed with US republicans, according to the hoaxers.

State Sen. Becky Harris said a bill to prohibit forced microchipping of people is not as far-fetched as it might seem, because it happens in some places around the world. Senate Bill 109 would make it a Class C felony to require someone to be implanted with a radio frequency identifier, such as microchips placed in pets.

n an extremely disturbing video, an NYPD officer can be seen traumatizing a pregnant teen by shocking her with a stun gun. The teen was accused of resisting arrest on Friday night after she refused to let officers enter her apartment without a warrant. The video evidence clearly shows teenager, Dailene Rosario, 17, who is 14-weeks pregnant, being swarmed by nearly a dozen officers before being taken to the ground with the stun gun. Rosario says that she informed officers that she was pregnant prior to them electrocuting her and her baby with 50,000 volts.

Trump Declares War on Russia

Posted on February 14, 2017 by Eric Zuesse.

U.S. President Donald Trump made unequivocally clear, on February 14th, that the new Cold War between the U.S. and Russia will continue until Russia complies with two conditions that would not only be humiliating to Russia (and to the vast majority of its citizens), but that would also be profoundly immoral. One of these two conditions would actually be impossible, even if it weren’t, in addition, immoral. For Vladimir Putin to agree to either of these two conditions, would not only be a violation of his often-expressed basic viewpoint, but it would also cause the vast majority of Russians to despise him — because they respect him for his consistent advocacy of that very viewpoint. He has never wavered from it. The support of Russians for that viewpoint is virtually universal. (This article will explain the viewpoint.)

In order to understand the Russian perspective on the first of these two issues (which any American must understand who wants to understand the astounding stupidity of Mr. Trump’s position on this matter), which is the issue of Crimea (which had for hundreds of years been part of Russia, but was then suddenly and arbitrarily transferred to Ukraine in 1954 by the Soviet dictator — and the U.S. now demands that his dictat regarding Crimea must be restored), two videos are essential for anyone to see, and here they are:

The first video (click here to see it) (and no one should read any further here who hasn’t seen that video or at least the first twelve minutes of it, because it’s crucial) shows the U.S.-engineered coup that violently overthrew the democratically elected President of Ukraine in February 2014, under the cover of ‘a democratic revolution’, which was actually nothing of the sort, and which had instead started being planned in the U.S. State Department by no later than 2011, and started being organized inside the U.S. Embassy in Kiev by no later than 1 March 2013. The head of the ‘private CIA’ firm Stratfor, has rightly called it “the most blatant coup in history”.

The second video (click here to see it) shows the massacre of Crimeans who were escaping from Kiev during the Ukrainian coup, on 20 February 2014, and which massacre came to be known quickly in Crimea, as “the Pogrom of Korsun,” which was the town where the fascists whom the Obama regime had hired were able to trap the escapees and kill many of them. That’s the incident which — occurring during the coup in Ukraine — stirred enormous fear by Crimeans of the rabid hatred toward them by the U.S.-installed regime.

Finally on the issue of Crimea, all of the Western-sponsored polls that were taken of Crimeans both before and after the plebiscite on 16 March 2014 (which was just weeks after Obama overthrew the Ukrainian President for whom 75% of Crimeans had voted) showed over 90% support by Crimeans for Crimea’s return to being again a part of Russia. Everyone agrees that there was far more than 50% support for that, among the Crimeans. Furthermore, even Barack Obama accepted the basic universal principle of the right of self-determination of peoples when it pertained to Catalans in Spain, and Scotch in UK, and neither he nor anyone else has ever been able to make any credible case for applying it there and generally, but not in Crimea — especially under these circumstances.

So, on the first issue, Trump’s demand that Putin force the residents of Crimea to become subjects of the coup-regime that Obama had just established in Ukraine, it won’t be fulfilled — and it shouldn’t be fulfilled. Obama instituted the sanctions against Russia on the basis of what he called Putin’s “conquest of land” (referring to Crimea), but Russians see it instead as Russia’s standing steadfast for, and protecting, in what was historically and culturally a part of Russia not a part of Ukraine, the right of self-determination of peoples — especially after the country of which their land had been a part for the immediately prior 60 years (Ukraine), had been conquered three weeks earlier, via a bloody coup by a foreign power, and, moreover, this was a foreign power whom Crimeans loathed. Putin will not accept Trump’s demand. Nor should he.

The way that this demand was stated on February 14th was “deescalate violence in the Ukraine,” referring to Ukraine’s invasions of its own former Donbass region, which broke away from the Obama-installed Ukrainian regime shortly after Crimea did, but which Putin (after having already suffered so much — sanctions, etc. — from allowing the Crimeans to become Russians again) refused to allow into the Russian Federation, and only offered military and humanitarian assistance to protect themselves so that not all of the roughly five million residents there would flee across the border into Russia.

Donbass had voted 90% for the Ukrainian President that Obama illegally replaced in his coup.

Francois Hollande, Angela Merkel, and Vladimir Putin, had established the Minsk negotiations and agreements, to end the hottest phase of the (Obama-caused) war between Ukraine and Donbass; and a crucial part of the Minsk-2 agreement was that Ukraine would allow the residents of Donbass a certain minimal degree of autonomy within Ukraine, as part of a new Ukrainian Federation, but Ukraine’s Rada or parliament refuses to do that, refuses to allow it, and the United States and its allies blame the residents of Donbass for that refusal by their enemies, and blame the Donbassers for the continued war, or, as Trump’s press secretary referred to it on February 14th, “violence in the Ukraine.” He’s demanding that Donbass stop the war, when Donbass is being constantly attacked by a Ukrainian regime that refuses even to fulfill a fundamental provision of the peace agreement that Hollande, Merkel, and Putin, had arranged, and that both Ukraine and Donbass signed. (Note: even Hollande and Merkel weren’t able to get the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Obama, to so much as participate in this effort for peace.)

A demand like that — for the victim to stop the fight — is impossible to fulfill. It’s like, in World War II, blaming the United States, Soviet Union, and UK, for their war against Germany, Italy, and Japan. It is a cockeyed demand, which requires only cockeyed credulous believers, for it to be taken seriously.

The way that Sean Spicer, President Trump’s press spokesperson, put this demand in his February 14th press conference, was:

President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to deescalate violence in the Ukraine and return Crimea.  At the same time, he fully expects to and wants to be able to get along with Russia.

To some people, that combination sounds idiotic. In any event, it’s not merely unrealistic; it is downright impossible. It’s not seeking peace with Russia; it is instead reasserting war against Russia.

Spicer said, with evident pride: “The President has been incredibly tough on Russia.”

A reporter at the press conference challenged that statement: “To me it seems, and I think to a lot of Americans it seems that this President has not been tough on Russia.” Spicer answered by referring to the statement that America’s new U.N. Representative, Nikki Haley, had made. She said at the U.N. on February 2nd:

I must condemn the aggressive actions of Russia. … The United States stands with the people of Ukraine, who have suffered for nearly three years under Russian occupation and military intervention. Until Russia and the separatists it supports respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, this crisis will continue. … The United States continues to condemn and call for an immediate end to the Russian occupation of Crimea. Crimea is a part of Ukraine. Our Crimea-related sanctions will remain in place until Russia returns control over the peninsula to Ukraine.

So, Spicer said that,

with respect to Russia, I think the comments that Ambassador Haley made at the U.N. were extremely forceful and very clear that until —

Q    That was an announcement from Haley, not the President.

MR. SPICER:  She speaks for the President.  I speak for the President.  All of us in this administration.  And so all of the actions and all of the words in this administration are on behalf and at the direction of this President.  So I don’t think we could be any clearer on the President’s commitment.

Trump is continuing Obama’s war against Russia, although he had not given America’s voters to expect anything of the kind. Some voters (this writer is one) had voted for him because Trump alleged that he strongly disagreed with his opponent Hillary Clinton about that — he outright lied to the voters, on the most important thing of all. He applied mental coercion — deceit — in order to win. But as it turns out, he’s not really opposed at all to Obama’s coup in Ukraine. Perhaps he is so stupid that he’s not even aware that it was a coup, instead of a ‘democratic revolution’ (the cover-story). Maybe he’s so stupid, that he believes Obama’s lies.

At least Hillary Clinton was honest enough to make clear that she was going to continue Obama’s policies (only worse). But she was so stupid that she couldn’t even beat Donald Trump.

Anyway, all of that is water over the damn, now.

Initially, it had seemed that the only way in which Trump was aiming to satisfy the U.S. aristocracy (owners of the military-industrial complex, among other things) about increasing the ‘defense’ budget, was going to be a buildup against Iran; but, now, that war might end up playing second fiddle.

The war with Russia can only escalate, unless or until President Trump reverses course and states publicly, and provides to the American people and the world, the clear evidence of, his predecessor’s perfidy, both in Ukraine, and in Syria. Unless and until he comes clean, and admits that the problem between the U.S. and Russia isn’t Putin, but instead Obama, it will continue escalating, right up to World War III; and here is why:

When it escalates to a traditional hot war, either in Ukraine or in Syria, the side that’s losing that traditional war will have only one way to avoid defeat: a sudden unannounced nuclear all-out blitz attack against the other side. A nuclear war will last less than 30 minutes. The side that attacks first will suffer the less damage, because it will have knocked out some of the other side’s retaliatory missiles and bombs. If Donald Trump were intelligent, then one could assume that he knows this. He’s not, so he doesn’t. He plods on, toward mutual nuclear annihilation. Perhaps, like Hillary Clinton, he believes that the U.S. has ‘Nuclear Primacy’ and so will ‘win’.

It’s all so stupid. But, even worse, it’s evil. And I’m not talking about Russia or Putin here. The real problem — on this ultimate issue, of avoiding a nuclear winter — is my own country: the United States of America. To call this a ‘democracy’ is not merely a lie; it is a bad joke. The American public are not to blame for this evil. The American aristocracy are. It’s an oligarchy gone mad.

Trump promised to ‘drain the swamp’. Instead, he’s feeding the alligators.

Nationalist Propaganda has Many Progressives Demonizing ‘The Russians’

Russia’s sovereignty over the Crimean peninsula is not up for discussion or dispute, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

Earlier in the day, Le Pen in her interview with the Russian Izvestia newspaper said that as the French leader she would recognize Crimea as part of Russia, adding that the fact Crimea had belonged to Ukraine was “just an administrative issue of the Soviet times”.

President Trump on Tuesday said the “real story” of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s resignation was “illegal leaks,” rather than reports Flynn misled senior White House officials about his conversations with Russia.

“The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal with N.Korea etc?” Trump tweeted.

Many of the behind-the-scenes stories leaked out about President Trump’s White House bear “almost no resemblance to reality,” senior Trump aide Sebastian Gorka says in an interview with The Hill.

Gorka, Trump’s deputy assistant, pushed back forcefully at the idea that stories based on leaks were credible, characterizing them instead as the creations of journalists looking to write negative narratives based on unnamed sources.

“Lake Oroville: $100 million in damage, more than 100,000 ordered to evacuate and more rain on the way” [Los Angeles Times].

“Feds order independent review of Oroville Dam spillway problems” [Sacramento Bee]. “To ensure objectivity, ‘the forensic analysis must be performed by a fully independent third party with no previous involvement in assessing the spillway structure at this project,’ the [Federal Energy Regulatory Commission] letter reads.”

“What Happened at the Oroville Dam” [New York Times]. “It is not yet known what caused the damage to the concrete [in the main spillway], but one culprit is cavitation, or tiny bubbles of water vapor that can form in high-velocity water, said Blake P. Tullis, a professor of civil engineering at Utah State University. When the bubbles collapse, they create tiny shock waves that are strong enough to damage concrete, he said.” Any concrete nerds in the readership?

Trump Transition

“Republican senators call for Russia investigation, Flynn testimony” [CNN]. As both party establishments begin a horrid process of mutual assimilation (“I come near wigging with that green stuff all over me” –Naked Lunch).

“I think Flynn’s ouster doesn’t end the Trump/Russia story, but rather gives it legs. Trump tweeted a complaint about leaks this morning. I don’t think he has seen anything yet. And I think the tweet reflects his fear of what might emerge” [Thomas Ricks, Foreign Policy]. Performative speech, FP being the heart of The Blob. Hate Obama, hate Trump, love Clinton, want war.

“The Political Assassination of Michael Flynn” [Bloomberg]. “[T]here are many unanswered questions about Trump’s and his administration’s ties to Russia. But that’s all these allegations are at this point: unanswered questions. It’s possible that Flynn has more ties to Russia that he had kept from the public and his colleagues. It’s also possible that a group of national security bureaucrats and former Obama officials are selectively leaking highly sensitive law enforcement information to undermine the elected government… In the end, it was Trump’s decision to cut Flynn loose. In doing this he caved in to his political and bureaucratic opposition. Nunes told me Monday night that this will not end well. ‘First it’s Flynn, next it will be Kellyanne Conway, then it will be Steve Bannon, then it will be Reince Priebus,’ he said. Put another way, Flynn is only the appetizer. Trump is the entree.” Yep. I wonder if Trump is — assuming good faith, here — making the same mistake Obama did? Assuming some level of good faith from the opposing party?

Trump’s National Security Advisor Flynn resigned after only three weeks in office. While I am certainly no fan of Flynn or of Trump I find this defenestration a dangerous event. It will hamper any big change in U.S. foreign policy that Trump may envision. The resignation followed a highly orchestrated campaign against Flynn by intelligence officials, the media and some people within the White House. SOURCE: MOON OF ALABAMA

More than 5,000 rounds of depleted uranium (DU) ammunition were used in two attacks on Islamic State oil tankers in eastern Syria, the US military has confirmed. The US-led coalition previously pledged it would not use the controversial ordnance. A spokesman for the US Central Command (CENTCOM) told Foreign Policy that 5,265 armor-piercing DU rounds were used in November 2015, during two air raids against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) oil tanker convoys in the Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah provinces in eastern Syria.

Lowering the Expectations for a Trump Presidency to Subterranean Levels

Flynn’s Takedown, “A Soft Coup”

February 14th, 2017 by Kevin

In case anyone is keeping score, there was a faction allied with Trump that claimed that they were going to steal the election from Hillary, who was obviously well into the process of stealing the election for herself (see Bernie).

Post election, Hillary’s faction obviously hasn’t just shrugged its shoulders and said, “Oh well.”

Via: The Week:

The whole episode is evidence of the precipitous and ongoing collapse of America’s democratic institutions — not a sign of their resiliency. Flynn’s ouster was a soft coup (or political assassination) engineered by anonymous intelligence community bureaucrats. The results might be salutary, but this isn’t the way a liberal democracy is supposed to function.

Unelected intelligence analysts work for the president, not the other way around. Far too many Trump critics appear not to care that these intelligence agents leaked highly sensitive information to the press — mostly because Trump critics are pleased with the result. “Finally,” they say, “someone took a stand to expose collusion between the Russians and a senior aide to the president!” It is indeed important that someone took such a stand. But it matters greatly who that someone is and how they take their stand. Members of the unelected, unaccountable intelligence community are not the right someone, especially when they target a senior aide to the president by leaking anonymously to newspapers the content of classified phone intercepts, where the unverified, unsubstantiated information can inflict politically fatal damage almost instantaneously.

So USING TAXPAYERS MONEY the US intelligence agencies and/or their related defense contractors and empowered telecommunications providers made recordings of a transition team member (Michael Flynn) speaking with a foreign Ambassador and give transcript data to private media outlets and reporters.

They then used that information and its ILLEGAL DISSEMINATION to sabotage a sitting National Security Advisor. At the same time, they are ILLEGALLY leaking excerpts of phone conversations of the President with foreign leaders for all the world to read and misrepresenting those conversations.

So we are paying tens of billions every year to people to break the law and use their lawlessness to control who does and does not work in our government in a manner that allows them to control policies – like how to make more money going to war. And announcing it far and wide to every foreign government in the world. So our allies can not trust us and our enemies are emboldened.

Who elected them? Not me, not you. Who gave them the right to repeatedly break the law with impunity on our dime? Not me, not you.

No government information sovereignty = no government. Get it?

Maybe Trump ought to fire the people who keep breaking the law. It wasn’t Flynn.  Instead the President has sacrificed the lawful at the alter of the lawless.

Felons win big.

Why are we paying for this?

You may feel obliged to pay your taxes for now, but you can sure cancel your subscriptions to the New York Times and the Washington Post, cancel your cable, turn off your TV and slash your telecommunications bills to the bone.

If the Rand Corporation found strong evidence vaccines cause Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), myalgia, seizures, meningitis, encephalitis and other adverse health problems, and Robert F Kennedy Jr., Esq. is revealing more and more research—almost daily—this time from the Yale School of Medicine and Penn State College of Medicine about an association between vaccines and brain disorders [1], then what’s all the ‘tap dancing’ about?  Let’s get to some serious conclusions.

Like tap dancing that makes a lot of noise, so too are vaccine studies peripherally pointing to real vaccine concerns about which the U.S. federal health agencies (HHS, CDC and FDA) and state health departments probably won’t do anything to correct, i.e., eliminate vaccines, as some countries are doing with some vaccines.  The ever-increasing—“growing like Topsy”—CDC vaccine schedule has to stop!  With almost three hundred new vaccines in production, how many will infants, toddlers and teens be mandated to receive when those vaccines obtain licensure?  Furthermore, aren’t vaccines Big Pharma’s annuity products, so what should consumers expect?

All one ever hears is more research has to be done!  That seems to be the mantra for all science today.
